Very cool fancy doughnuts. Reminded me of Voodoo Donuts, but with yummy food, too. Fantastic breakfast and lunch food, all fresh baked on site! Worth a side trip off the 101 @ Toledo!

My doughnut was super, but I tried a second one and the toppings were stale. Stay away from the “puffed” toppings after morning.

Double Take Donuts is small town home town best place in town for donuts and breakfast sandwiches. Their breakfast sandwiches are worth making the trip everytime. They are like nothing you’ve ever had. Whenever we are in town we make sure to make a visit. The owners are also welcoming and so accommodating. They make you feel like family while you’re there. If you are in the area, you should make an effort to stop by for a special treat or a filling breakfast sandwiche.

I was on my way back from Newport and stopped in Toledo. Went into Double Take Donuts to see what it was all about! Fabulous service by a family run small business. Excellent cinnamon rolls and friendly services! I highly recommend this cool donut shop.

By chance we ran into 1 of the 2 owners at another business in Newport, great guy and very tuned in. He told us about Double Take Donuts, handed us a get 1 free donut card and we were game for the opportunity. I just want to say that it was well worth the stop. We got a dozen donuts, a honey bun (free one) and a t-shirt! We loved meeting the better half of the business, and can’t forget Mom! Did I mention mom was such a sweet lady, and offered us some extra, I’m looking forward to tomorrows breakfast. Thank you for being so warm and inviting as soon as we got there, we will definitely be back soon! Thank you, the Walls family!

We made a detour here in the way to the coast. We enjoyed fresh made cheesy breakfast sandwiches and brought home several different donut flavors. Everything tasted great and new from others we have tried. Very kind and helpful group there. Adorable inside.

Fantastic little spot with a wonderful selection of donuts, pastries, and some sandwiches! Got a jelly donut and it was SO SOFT and good for only a couple of dollars. Will be going back every time I drive through town for sure!

Stopped in to get 1 old fashioned and 1 choc frosting donut. These are $2 each, and the young woman didn’t know how much to charge until she slowly rang it up. Got to the car and good thing I looked in the bag… she gave me a wrong donut. Went back inside, and she was going to put my returned donut back in the case, until the older lady/owner? told her NO. I’m still kicking myself for tipping her. The old fashioned tasted stale and was hard-ish. My first thought was wondering if they bought these from Safeway and are re-selling here, days later. The choc covered donut WAS stale and very hard. If an almond is a 10 [on 1 – 10 scale], this donut was an 8. It too looked just like Safeway’s donuts. Neither donut should have been sold to a customer, especially the latter. Shame on the owner for selling an inedible product.

This place is a hidden gem. I couldn’t believe how amazing the creativity of the donut selections were. Pop tart chunks on a donut? Where has this been all my life? And the cinnamon roll was incredible.
The only thing better than the donuts was the friendly staff. Justin and his lovely wife are both amazing people and I am glad we got to meet them.

Delicious food, delicious donuts and Rebecca made it so much fun. We got breakfast burritos, biscuits and gravy, and breakfast pizza and i have no idea what to pick next time as it was all so yummy!
