Food was bad to the point of being inedible. The rib meat was hard and dry, the green beans seemed canned, and somehow the cornbread was sickeningly sweet. They even messed up the brisket!

Stopped in at Quarters because no trip to BG is complete without a Quarters visit. Saw they offered food through Double D’s Smokehouse and decided to give it a shot. Definitely glad I did!
Ordered the pick two combo (rib tips and brisket) from the platters menu and got the baked beans and mac-n-cheese as sides. Generous portion and enough to feed two people (or one hungry college kid). Rib tips were full of flavor and juicy. The brisket tasted a little tangy, which was unique. The beans had little pieces of meat (brisket? bacon?) that added flavor and the BBQ sauce was on point.
The only critique would be the mac-n-cheese. It wasn’t bad, but it didn’t stand out. The guy running Double D’s is a great guy and very accommodating. Definitely gonna have to get back to try some other stuff on the menu!

Please avoid. It is difficult and takes work to make barbecue this bad. Ribs were so overcooked that they were as hard as hockey pucks. Spicing was bad. Coleslaw was meh. Baked beans were way oversauced. Green beans were out of a can.

This place was horrible, it’s a bar , mainly a bar , ordered the 1/2 rack , only ate 1/4 of it all fat no meat . The beans were out of a can . The dj really sucked , the bartenders were good though. I do not suggest this place to anyone
