Beware! Menu items served may not even closely resemble those pictured on the website. AND carefully check your receipt if paying with a card. I have previously dined in and taken out meals from Double Dragon , but after after a recent experience, NEVER AGAIN! We ordered two lunches, broccoli beef with fried rice. We received warm broccoli that was closer to raw than steamed. While I often enjoy chopped broccoli on salads, never as part of an entree. The mound of rice appeared to be steamed rice with yellow food coloring. It is not the same item appearing on the website. Employee’s explanation: It is the Double Dragon version of fried rice. (I was born at night, but not last night.) My check totaled $42, to include two meals at $17.95 each, a 15% automatic gratuity and tax. However, I received a receipt for $65 and no copy of my itemized check. I used my cell phone calculator to calculate my tab and it was $42, not $65. An employee, dining nearby, observed my displeasure and offered assistance. She returned with a corrected check for $42 and a voided receipt for the erroneous $65. However, again no itemized check; as is customary, accompanied the corrected receipt which I paid in cash. Employee’s explanation: I was erroneously charged for the meal consumed by diners at a different table. BAH! HUMBUG! ***While I am not predisposed to attributing mistreatment of people of color to racism, I know that African Americans are highly likely to be profiled in many businesses. Melanin content appears to equate with ignorance, lack of education, unworthiness and criminality. And “I calls it as I sees it.” Coincidentally, my friend and I, African American seniors, were the only African Americans dining at Double Dragon at the time of this incident; and, for lacking a more pleasant dining experience, I am leaning toward “calling it as I sees it.”

The food is really good — no doubt about that, which is why we keep coming back. However, hygiene is just as important. As shown in the video, we found a small hair in the meat, which was quite disappointing. We hope the kitchen staff takes extra care moving forward, including using proper hair covers to prevent this from happening again. Cleanliness should always come first.

Their Lunch Menu is really Good.
Honestly I didn’t really like any of their Orange Chicken or Any Battered Chicken.

I find something was off about the sauces
Maybe not sweet enough.

Although I must say the food is Quality.
They used chicken breast.

As for the Noodles. It was delicious.
The Calamari Lunch Combo is good as well.
Very Good Portion.

Not a fan of the fried rice.
The texture was a bit hard.

The Salt and Pepper Pork was Perfect.

I would come back to try the seafood.

But if you mike your traditional crispy orange chicken.
This Place is not it. The only reason I didn’t give them a 5 star.

The staffs are very friendly.
Service is impeccable

I ordered 2 lunch specials, which was general tao chicken and so called fried rice! The rice was yellow flavorless, and the chicken was super sweet loaded with MSG! The chicken taste like it was freezer burned, and top of that I obtained a horrible headache. I wish I can give zero stars. I’m a San Francisco native, by way of Oakland. The food in Antioch/ Pittsburgh is absolutely horrible .

Was craving Chinese food and stumbled across this establishment, and I’m so glad I did. I called in to place an order for pickup and the service received was great. The food was still hot when we got home and it smelled amazing. It was flavorful and delicious, and the portion size are great. From now on, this will be our go to spot for Chinese food.

I got old food at 6:30 pm
Chicken fried rice was mushy and too dark.
Salt & Pepper fish not fresh
But I got a sample earlier in the day from a client and it was good, fresh, so 5☆ until I try them 1 more ×

Stopped by here for lunch on our way to Grocery Outlet and glad we did (we were sure what we wanted for lunch!) At Chinese restaurants we always try their Salt and Pepper fish fillets and this one was better than expected. Surprisingly the wonton soup was just okay. Overall very filling and would definitely come back.

First off this is the best chinese food in Antioch, but unfortunately the prices have skyrocketed in the past few years. Staff isn’t that friendly and I don’t know when it started but there is a mandatory 15% service fee for dine in. I tip well so it wasn’t a problem, but I just don’t like that its forced.

Awesome Food!
Very friendly and accommodating!
A little pricey for just Chinese food but it’s worth it! Their Mongolian sauce is awesome but very different and more on the spicier side than sweet. Walnut Shrimp is a must!!!
