Bonchon never disappoints! The spicy chicken is perfectly crispy with just the right kick, and the fried rice has that irresistible smoky, wok-kissed flavor. Hands down one of the best spots when you’re craving korean flavors!

I’ve never had such disappointing chicken wings. They were extremely dry, over-fried, and tasted like they were cooked in old oil. Absolutely unpleasant. I won’t be coming back.

I ordered the half Yangneom chicken and half soy garlic chicken, along with an order of fries. While the staff was very nice, the quality has really slipped. The chicken’s exterior was crispy, but the meat itself was a bit bland.

The fries were were a ridiculously small portion for the $6 price, barely the size of a McDonald’s medium fry, and the quality wasn’t good. My order was also missing the coleslaw. For the price, you’re better off saving your money and going to BBQ Chicken instead.

Bonchon chicken got complacent and there are a lot of other people out here who know how to make Korean fried Chicken. Pick something else.

We doordashed this last night and it was fantastic. Chicken wings were the best I have had all year. Korean BBQ was the best flavor for the wings. The pork belly kimchi rice bowl was also great. I really liked the sauces, Cucumber Wasabi and Spicy Mayo being my favorite. I would skip the Sesame salad. I’ll be ordering again soon!

This is a good Korean chain restaurant. They have delicious wings and kimchi, and some fusion tacos that are decent too. I recently tried their fried chicken over rice which had a pretty tasty katsu sauce with mayo. They have many noodle entree options and sides, I’ve tried their bao buns and potstickers. They also serve alcohol which is nice.

This is my 3rd time getting Bonchon from this location and I can honestly say that they get worse and worse each time. We keep wanting to give them another chance but unfortunely I think we’re done. I picked up my order on Saturday (which both my boyfriend and I were really looking forward to) and when we got home, we were very disappointed. The boneless chicken wings were barely coated with any of the sauce that we ordered lacking a lot of flavor. The fried rice was okay, but the container was barely filled to the top which for the price is really not worth it. We also got some FRIED shrimp shumai which were very soggy, but the flavor was okay. We felt a bit sick after we were done eating our food which was just the cherry on top after this whole experience.
In total we paid around $50. For this kind of money, I would recommend you skip Bonchon and get your Korean food somewhere else. There’s plenty of other great locations in the area!

Decided to stop here after going to Woodfield Mall. Glad we stopped in. Food was delicious and service was wonderful. Had the spicy Korean tacos and they were super delicious and flavorful. My daughter had the fried chicken strip. They were crispy, yet was still tender and juicy. The fried rice and spicy bibimbap were also amazing. Would definitely recommend!

The food at Bonchon used to be very good but I agree with the recent negative reviews in that the quality has declined. The seasoned fries were delicious and were provided in a box but now the amount of seasoned fries that are provided is insulting, especially for the price. And the spicy chicken tacos barely have any chicken in them anymore. The bulgogi rice is still very good and the portion size is the same as before. I called the restaurant to make them aware of tiny portion of the fries and was only told that this feedback would be shared with management.

The bulgogi fries were amazing! Chicken was cooked perfectly. I wish they had a bigger selection of sauces for wings. Overall a great experience. Will definitely be dining here again.
