Food is great! Reasonable pricing for a restaurant in Lava. Around $11 for a burger. We loved the garlic fries. Kids meal for $6 with fries, corn dog, and drink. 4 stars for the food and a bonus star for the atmosphere.

Such a cool experience! There’s seating on the upper deck of the bus, so it was really fun to sit up there. The garlic Parmesan fries are so good my 7 year old did have one complaint though… he says the Hot Dog was “too big”

Thought this place was going to be great with its location and cool concept. Other than that, it’s absolutely horrible! I ordered the chili cheese fries, the fries were soggy and cold, the cheese was not melted. He forgot the chili, and so I brought it back. Told me it would be a minute for him to make the chili. He returned it with COLD chili. He also didn’t ask what size drink and just charged me for a large, then didn’t put any ice in it! I didn’t even take one bite of the meal because it was so bad! Just go walk through and eat somewhere else.

Soda was completely flat, the kids didn’t know how to do the co so they offered us a couple of warm waters instead.
The food smelled like the oil was really old, I took a piece of the hamburger and tasted gamey.
Bottom line we were just scared of the whole experience and didn’t ate the meal.

We took a break from a day of tubing to grab lunch and honestly, couldn’t have been happier with the food and service! You really can’t beat a $6 kids meal nowadays and the service was just as awesome. $9 for a cheeseburger didn’t feel too high for being a tourist spot and lemme tell ya, it hit the spot.
The fries might have been a little undercooked, but the garlic parm flavor was so good.
Pro tip: ask to buy a few Capri Suns to toss at thirsty tubers that float by. This was absolutely a highlight for the kids.

What a great experience. Food is good, atmosphere is great. Currently the river is running way high making the scenery the best! I would highly recommend the experience to anyone, and we will be sure to come back!

Only 2 people were working at the time, but they did a good job of how busy it was. We got our burgers before A storm came in and turned the power off. The burgers and fries were yummy.

So sad to give this place a one-star rating. The place had a fun atmosphere. It was located on the river. The people were very nice. The fries were amazing. However, the burger was definitely NOT worth the price. The hamburger with thin and burned. The cheese slice was thicker than the hamburger itself. I would definitely not recommend the hamburger.

Loved the gourmet burgers and homemade garlic fries! Such an amazing place for Lava because we didn’t have to bring our grandkids into a busy packed restaurant and we could sit outside at the tables by the river. The managers were great…they were fun, fast and accommodating besides grilling up the best burgers ever! The burger bus is our favorite Lava food. Thanks Jake and Libby for taking care of us!
