I would say this place was a nice surprise, but actually when I saw the outside of the place and how many people were there for late lunch, I knew it was gonna be amazing. I got a double cheeseburger which I could only eat half of and fries which they gave me at least a pound of fries! Basically it’s a diner where you walk up in order and then your number is called and you go back and get your food. They had a steam table with what look to be good country food, but we were in the mood for cheeseburgers and a BLT. Good food and a reasonable price on a casual atmosphere- can’t beat it..

I’ve always passed by this quaint eatery when taking Old Cornelia Hwy going towards East Hall High School and never got the chance to try it out until recently. I arrived for lunch around 1:30 pm about close to closing time so there were very few customers inside. I ordered one of their lunch specials which was a Mushroom Swiss burger with fries and a drink. The employees were cordial and kind despite the waning hour. As for the meal, the burger was juicy and delicious though a little bit messy since I asked for the “works” which included lettuce, tomato and mayonnaise. The fries were crisp and tasty as well. Overall, the restaurant had a great homey vibe with lots of local memorabilia on the wall, friendly workers and above all great food.

Drive thru order, so didn’t see the inside. The food was really good. One of the best burgers I’ve had in a while. The onion rings were good too. Not too much breading on them and served hot just like the burger.
They were generous with the portions, and the toppings on the burger were fresh and tasty. I knew it was probably going to be good by looking at the full parking lot, especially work trucks. You know a place is worth trying by looking at the vehicles in the parking lot.

Went by on a Wednesday and got chicken plates and it smelled like old grease had been used and it looked like it had been cooked in it. Thought on Thursday I would go by and get hamburgers since they would be cooked on grill and opened mine to put salt on it and had mayonnaise on it. How do you get mayonnaise out of telling them mustard,ketchup and onions? Three meals in the garbage over 30.00 worth of food.
