Great experience! Thank you for the warm and friendly service. I really appreciate the many vegetarian options. Will definitely come back.
I’d ordered the Portuguese curry fried rice (tofu)

Had a great experience at Double Chin! The food was absolutely delicious—flavorful, well-prepared, and served fresh. Every dish we tried was a hit, and the portions were generous too. The vibe of the place was fun and welcoming, and the service was friendly and attentive. Definitely looking forward to coming back again soon!

Double Chin is such a reliable place, one of the only late-night consistent spots on the area with fun drinks and pretty good food!
The fish tank cocktail was very yummy, though a little smaller than expected, but the novelty is worth it! They have a lot of options which are kinda hit or miss, but the appetizers like the Kimchi Fries are always a hit, good place to hit up before or after going out!

Very creative menu. I love the traditional tea cafe food. The best dish they serve is the baked pork chop rice. It is the best version in Boston and is not even close. The price has gone up significantly, which is probably true for everything else. So, this dish is very expensive but I think it is worth the money. When I visit Double Chin, this is the only thing I order now.

I love double-chin for a late-night stop, usually towards the end of the night. On weekends they are open until 4am, and their drink menu is a ton of fun. My wife and I have been twice and only got food the first time. The second time we brought friends & family and only stayed for drinks. The first time was perfect (both food and drinks) however our most recent visit 2 weekends ago was a little disappointing as the staff were often on their phones sitting around instead of checking on our table a bit more consistently. I would say 4/5 stars is fair, especially for the value you get for the food.

Awful food quality. The lobster in the ramen was rubbery—completely tasteless and ridiculously chewy. The so-called Portuguese chicken was just curry chicken; it was nothing like real Portuguese chicken. The passionfruit green tea was the worst I’ve ever had—as Asians who have tried bubble tea worldwide, we know what it should taste like, and this was absolutely terrible. My husband ordered the peach green tea and said it tasted like soap. Since last night, he has been vomiting and suffering from severe diarrhea, ruining our trip as he’s stuck in the hotel sick. I would never recommend this place! Wish I can give negative stars.

Went for shaved ice. It was good. Not easy to find Matcha or shaved ice in general with mochi! I wish there was bit more Red bean paste though. Cute little place. It was hard to get attention from the server, had to walk up or wave a few times.

Not a bad spot to stop after seeing a musical. The crispy Ramen salad was probably the best dish on the menu. Lobster crabcakes, scallion pancakes, and fried rice are all good. I wasn’t a big fan of the Ramen soup. Kind of bland.

Modern Chinese restaurant with poorly executed creative menus.
Saw the hype on social media about their toast and spam fries and decided to take a visit. Their idea of modernizing Chinese dishes was mostly confined to infusing street food elements. Sounds great on paper, but their execution was fairly unremarkable. With the exception of the seafood crispy noodles which I liked, all the menus I ordered were mediocre at best. The sweet chili sauce on the cauliflower was too watery and poorly integrated. The ramen crust on the chicken barely made any difference in texture, and the quality of chicken was also not great. Nothing from the spam and taro fries and the Double Chin fried rice were worth the hype on social media. I haven’t tried their famous Cube Toast so I cannot comment on those, but their regular entree menus were certainly disappointing.
