This is a great place for some great food. Everyone there is friendly and the prices are cheap for alot of food! They respect their local services like law enforcement and the fire department which is great. Its a little run down but dont get it wrong the food is good! Highly recommend the biscuits and gravy!!

Great little back street Diner, the burgers tasted delicious and cooked perfect and the fresh cut fries were awesome. Perfect stop lunch after riding 3 hrs through the back roads and national forest.

Down home cooking, great food, friendly staff, and they obviously support both emergency services and military. These are the type of businesses that I like to support. Unfortunately it is a two day drive from home. We’ll know where to stop next time we’re going through.

I stopped here while on a motorcycle trip. It was fantastic!! The waitress I had was so friendly and helpful as well! As a retired veteran, I loved seeing their display honoring vets, too! I will be heading that way in a few weeks, so I’ll be stopping in again!!

Little, home style restaurant hidden in a tiny “shopping center”. Upon entering it’s clearly a locals kind of place. Unfortunately it is freezing in here and the ceiling fans are going full blast, so wear your coat. Don’t care for being forced to listen to “news” either.
Menu is pretty small though they managed to spread the few meals out on to 3 pages. Prices are good.
Shredded potatoes are cooked in advance ♀️ so I went with the diced. No gluten free options, sorry celiacs, but bacon/eggs/potatoes are generally pretty safe so if you’re looking for breakfast (and have your parka), don’t let that deter you.
Food has arrived. I ordered 2 scrambled eggs with diced potatoes and crisp bacon (hold the toast). My dining companion ordered an omelet with shredded potatoes and wheat toast. I love the deep fryer bacon. The eggs are tasty, though I suspect they were cooked in margarine. The potatoes reek of grease that smells like it was changed two weeks ago (maybe) so I won’t be touching them. The scent is an offense to my nose I wouldn’t torture my tongue with them. My gut is already queazy just having the plate in front of me. Peter’s “wheat” toast must be the cheapest toast that could possibly be found. It is barely tan. So white, that if I hadn’t known it was supposed to be wheat toast I would’ve thought it white. My potatoes look more wheat. My potatoes are clearly a cheap bag of frozen diced potatoes cooked in a deep fryer (for far too long and, judging by the smell olllllllllllllllld grease). I am seriously curious where all these people that said “great food” in their reviews have been eating. This food was the cheapest frozen, bagged stuff one could get from the store, made in advance and waiting under a heat lamp (or possibly a warming drawer) for someone to order it. Nothing was done to it to make it personal, homey, or anything. Just the laziest, cheapest, food prep possible. The only thing decent about the meal was the bacon and that is because they deep fry it (not enough places do that).
Waitresses were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable of the menu.
Overall, I am going to be regretting this meal for the next few hours as I sit in the car. No way would I ever eat here again.

Phenomenal small town diner. Food was perfectly cooked. Friendly staff and customers. The entrance doesn’t offer an inviting look but once you get inside the atmosphere is awesome. Check out the video. Also a preferred place for fire, Sharif and police.

If in Covington please check it out….small and delightful and obviously a local favorite. The food was delicious and the staff so friendly! This is one of those places you hope to find but rarely do. Several locals directed us there and it was great!

Loved this breakfast! The ham and cheese omelet was great! The hubby had a pork chop that was juicy and tender draped with the prettiest sunny side up eggs with no crispy edges! Loved it!

Traditional diner in downtown Covington. Even though the restaurant is downtown, there is a HUGE FREE parking lot. We had zero trouble parking our camper and enjoying an awesome lunch here. I got a chicken salad which was seasoned just perfectly and my husband got a VERY large tasty club which he could not finish! Will definitely be back when we are in the area.
