Dotties has been around for almost 40 years, and it’s easy to see why. A hometown diner to be proud of. No fuss dining, mainly fresh, well-prepared American diner fare, friendly and attentive waitstaff. Everyone in our party of 9 liked their food, recommend the omelettes. We sat near the back of the restaurant and it was not loud despite the completely open area. Every single waitress we passed on our way out wished us a great day. The entire restaurant sang happy birthday to one of the waitresses.

You won’t leave hungry! Generous portions and delicious food. We came around 11, so I had lunch – grilled ham and cheese with fries, while my husband had breakfast- the Spanish omelet with grits and toast. Super pleased with both! Service was great – everyone was friendly, welcoming and attentive. We will definitely be back!

As a member of the Port Malabar GardenClub I felt it necessary to post this review.
I’ve been going to Dottie’s for just over two years both on my own and with the Port Malabar GardenClub. I have worked in restaurants throughout my life. This is the first restaurant I’ve ever been to that I cannot pick one favorite waitress. All the waitresses there are fantastic at their jobs! They greet everyone by name. They make you feel at home, sort of like the show Cheers, lol. The food is consistently well prepared and delicious. This is a hometown establishment FULL of regular customers. You don’t get that many regulars if you’re not good. Enjoy your meal!

Update: After our visit over a year ago, still one of our favorite places for quick service & good food. Nice portions, too. Staff is friendly & hard working!
Thank you, Brittany.

Delicious, very fluffy Greek omlete, I’ve ever devoured. Many options & accommodations. Clean!! Friendly staff & military disc w/I’d for Veterans too.

I enjoyed the old-time Café feel of this local restaurant in the very friendly service by all the female Server staff. Regretfully my breakfast eggs arrive fried and instead of scrambled and the grits were a bit gloomy, but it was one hour before closing.
I ordered a takeout meal of meatloaf without gravy and was disappointed to get home and realize both slices were heavily covered with brown gravy. I’ll try the meatloaf tonight. It looked very good.

I really like this place. Great food and service. Young lady with black hair and nose ring is an awesome server and very polite.
Place is decorated with many nick nacks on the wall and furniture is low end commercial, seems like they value service member.
So the food, all of it was really good and if you read one of my post , I am a bit harsh on breakfast because it’s eggs and toast. Check this place out you will love it. Waffles and home fries mmmmm delicious. The home fries were crispy in some areas and I love it like that. Perfectly cooked vegi omelette and egg Florentine.
Yes over all 4.5 stars ⭐️ of course.

.. Update – eggs were good but if you are going to have a corned beef hash omelette as a special how hard is it really to make real corned beef? Seriously there is no pride opening a can of hash, then slap 1 slice of American cheese on top…. . I can no longer recommend this place. Sorry if this seems harsh but I am trying to be honest for people on how and where to spend your money. Also the eggs over easy and the bacon looked pretty good.
