I’ve been here through many years, usually after an intense early morning hike at Coyote Hills and their food has always been consistently tasty. Dosa, vada, pongal, uppuma; especially the combos and different chutneys are a delight. You can’t go wrong with their Madras Coffee or Masala tea either. They also run specials especially for lunch.
Order is usually ready in 10 minutes and prices have remained reasonable. Service has always been nice and easy.
Catch a game of cricket on the tv while eating but beware of coming here 11-3 pm particularly on weekends when it gets quite tricky to find a ‘compact’ parking spot.
The chai is good. The staff here are polite, though the cleanliness of the place could be improved for an even better experience. Dosa Hut is still worth a visit for its authentic flavors!
stupendous piping hot and sizzling. The Butter Masala Dosa arrived with that perfect golden arrogance — crackling crisp outside, soft and yellow masala inside, tasting like someone in the kitchen actually cares. One dunk into the coconut chutney and you know resistance is futile. Pair it with their filter coffee and suddenly “just a snack” turns into a spiritually satisfying meal. ☕
When I asked to speak with the manager, he falsely claimed to be the manager, even though it was clear that he was not. His behavior was aggressive and abnormal, and it could easily become a threat to other customers in the future if not addressed. I have also seen him working at the neighboring store, Zaitoon, which raises concerns about his role and responsibilities here.
I would like to speak directly with the rightful owner of this store regarding this incident. I have recorded the situation on my mobile, and I believe the store cameras would clearly show what happened as well.
This is one of the best Indian stores for delicious breakfast and lunch, and I have always appreciated the food. But because of this individual’s illiterate and arrogant behavior, the store’s standards and the owners’ reputation are being damaged. I sincerely hope management takes immediate action to protect the store’s dignity and ensure customers feel safe and respected.
He seems to be a student here, and although I have video and photos, I have chosen not to upload them publicly as it may cause trouble for him.
I went to Dosa Hut today and really had a nice experience. It was a little busy time, and I was waiting for my order. The white shirt guy saw me waiting and came with a smile. He greeted me so nicely and made sure my order was given quickly.
Really liked his polite behaviour and the way he was handling customers so patiently even when the crowd was more. You can see he is very sincere and hardworking person.
Food was very tasty as usual, and his service made the visit even better. Truly appreciate his effort. Must visit place for tasty food and good service!
We were paying customers and expected better customer service and understanding. It’s unfortunate because we came to enjoy a nice meal, but left feeling unwelcome. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves customer service and food quality.
