We went here on a whim and have to say it’s really worth it. Staff were great and tacos were first class. Their volcan tacos are popular and really good. Their flour tortillas were fresh and home made. Definitely recommend.

Excellent service, friendly staff, and delicious food with an authentic Mexican street-food flavor. I tried the asada volcano, the fried pastor quesadillas, and the birria, which was the best! Everything was exquisite! The salsas are not too spicy; they are very pleasant for a Venezuelan palate. Also, I asked why it is named 2 tacos, and it is because they have the regular and the vegetarian for the same taco flavor. Highly recommended!

This is a special place. The Quesabirria is fantastic. In fact everthing in the menu seems to never disappoint. The tripas tacos is exquisite (dont think it is in the menu). The owner is right there in the kitchen, making sure the quality is excellent. Everyone, including the owner go out of their way to make you feel welcome. They were a bit backed up the other day due to a mass wave of orders, they gave everyone waiting a plate of chips and queso for free.
If anything, would hope that they had more than 1 restroom for each gender. Or at least a common sink outside so you can wash your hands before and after the scrumptious meal.

First time here at Dos Tacos after reading about the rave reviews, and I was not disappointed. The counter clerk was very friendly and offered a few samples of the Fresca drinks available. I had the lunch special with 4 tacos – asada, pastor, chorizo, and chicken – and a fresca. The asada had a few tough chunks of meat, but was passable. All the tacos were tasty, and all came on corn tortillas. One of the servers brought over the 3 different salsa sauces to the table. As a first-time customer, I received a complimentary Volcan Asada taco, which was excellent. It was a wonderful lunch experience with great service. Will definitely go back to try more of their offerings.

I live downtown Houston. I’m very particular where I go for Mexican food. I come here intentionally for a crawfish tostada. Not only that the atmosphere, the values of the owner, and the encouragements that are handwritten all over the tables. Plus if it’s your first time, you get something free. Everything is cooked to order but the little wait is worth it. Whenever I’m in Katy and want some Mexican food, I go here hands down! If you’re in town, stop by and have a small conversation with the owner if he’s there. You’ll leave not only physically satisfied but feeling like you’ve gained a friend. Love this place.

Lots of flavor and lots of hot sauce/salsa options; but, the food was soooo good we didn’t need any of it! Dos Tacos is amazing! We could not believe it was not packed with people. I’m stuffed with joy as I’m typing this. They are sooooo nice that I ordered for large tacos and I got the small ones. After I asked to get the large ones instead, they allowed me to keep the small tacos which was lovely of them.
I highly recommend you to visit and enjoy your time with family / loved ones here. I’m definitely coming back again.

We had the vegan asada and pastor tacos, vegan quesadillas, vegan nachos, and they gave us 3 vegan volcan on the house to try! Everything was soo so good! We also got the vegan egg and potato breakfast tacos to go, they were delicious as well. We are so happy we found this place!

This place is hard to beat! Everything is filling & absolutely delicious. The crawfish taco was surprisingly good! Their consume and the three different salsas are the best I have found. Sadly, they are now charging extra for a few pineapple chunks if we want some with the pastor meat.

This place serving authentic Mexican food is going to be on our rotation. Specially because it has a large vegan tacos menu. Absolutely enjoyed the delicious flavors. Our favorites were vegan chorizo tostada, fried avocado taco, and not a fish, fish taco. The owner was so nice. He explained us the menu and even gave us a few tacos on the house because we were visiting for the first time.
