I ALWAYS get a combo 31 when I go, and it never disappoints. I actually dream about it, but my dad took me out to dinner and suggested I try something new. I got a chili (can’t remember which one but it has Verde, cheese, bacon, chicken, peppers) and while it wasn’t as good as the combo 31, it was delicious. I’d be okay with eating it sometimes, again. I have tried a few of the other things on the menu, off my fiance’s plate or as an appetizer and it’s always great. Everything is always fresh, delicious, and fast. This time when we went we also had great service. Probably one of the better waiters we’ve ever had anywhere. I highly recommend, because for Troy? It’s the best Mexican food around.

My bf and I wanted to share shrimp and steak fajitas, I pointed to the picture instead of the item on the menu as our waiter took our order. I was confused and thought the pictures match the items listed on the menu. Our waiter was quick to replace our food with a sizzling fajita platter and all the sides. He was prompt to fixing the problem so we tipped him nicely!! Good, fresh food and a friendly atmosphere!!

The food here is good and consistent, the service however….isn’t. We eat here at least once a week so the servers know us, however, they aren’t friendly, I feel like they could care less if we’re there. They MAY come check on you once if you’re lucky. They don’t refill drinks and more often than not, you have to go get your own to go box and go to the counter to get your check. We’ve overheard other tables saying the exact same thing. The owner used to be fairly friendly but even he barely acknowledges when you go to pay, no eye contact or thanks for coming in. If you want a quick Mexican meal, this is it, if you’re looking for good service or even just a friendly face, keep looking

We’ve been several times and usual have a pleasant experience. It’s a cozy Mexican restaurant with extensive choices. The portion sizes are large enough to bring home another meal. The service is usually ok at best and the last couple servers haven’t been very pleasant. We’ll be back and have brought out of town guests.

Our waiter was so rude towards us the second we sat down. Didnt smile once after i smiled at him and said thank you. We spent 9 something with tax for chicken nuggets and fries. Our food came andthe nuggets/fries were stale. Then the owner or manager whatever tried arguing with us about open containers being illegal in missouri which by the way hes wrong. but the point is this place isnt good for their prices. They stare at you with judgement. Will not be spending 45 dollars here again.

Very busy, but service was a little scattered, asked for a refill before the table I was sitting with (of 12) started asking as well, I asked first and everyone at the table received a refill except me. First time there, food was good but not entirely impressed.

This is my FAVORITE Mexican restaurant! The owner is a nice guy who is very involved in the running of his business. Both locations have great food and great service.
