First, walking in here was beautiful!! The designs on the doors, the colors everywhere, the intricate details on the furniture….it was so pretty in here!! We were instantly greeted and brought to our table. Our waitress came over and also greeted us. Service was excellent! The chips were hot and fresh, salsa was good! Our food came out pretty quick and was so flavorful! Portion sizes were great! We all left stuffed!

Expeditious service and the Texana Margarita is amazing. We had the regular fajitas (chicken and steak), which – today – I would give a 3/5. The refried beans were earthy and good! All in all, happy we made this stop though it was further off the interstate. Altogether, worth the detour, if anything for the margaritas. Also, the salsa was perfect.

Update 9-2-2021
Same problems, different wait staff. Gave it another shot. Was served a taco salad that was literally half full of grease and water. Taco soup is the way my girlfriend put it. Our waiter, Manny, wanted to argue that that’s how it always comes. Offered an alternate order or a remake. Second one came out perfect, and admittedly delicious, but our waiter was obviously mad and did not offer to refill my drink and ceased to check in after the remade order was tabled. Really poor service and the second wait staff to pull this sort of excuse for the kitchen instead of apologizing and moving on. Adding insult to injury, hot sauce bottle was filthy (again, see pictures from this time and last), missing it’s top, and looked like someone chewed on it. Dos Margaritas might be out of second chances from me to reclaim the high rating their food and location desperately deserves.

Was recently introduced to this Mexican restaurant and I love the food and drinks. Unfortunately tonight I had an unpleasant experience. I got the taco salad (which I have before here) and it was literally swimming in grease (see attached picture). At the end of the meal I politely asked our waitress, Sandy, to please let the cooks know they need to drain the meat. She told me “they’re always like that”. Apparently they weren’t last week when I was there, eating a taco salad, Sandy. Lost two stars for poor waitressing and table cleanliness. It’s too good to give it a 1 star even though I left unhappy.
