I can’t believe how good the food was here. Best torta I’ve had in the greater Waco area, maybe best I’ve ever had. The picture doesn’t do it justice. My kiddo loved his chicken quesadilla and wife got grilled chicken plate that was stellar.

I arrived at about 4pm for a meal as I was traveling through the area. It’s rather quite small but welcoming. It’s all homemade. I had the chicken fajita plate and it was delicious. If you’re traveling through I recommend this place.

The food here was so good. My husband and I were traveling from Austin to Tyler. We happened across this restaurant by chance. Very much down home… home cooking type of place. Nothing fancy! Bet everything full of flavor and made from scratch! My husband ordered the enchilada plate with carne asada. I chose the Gordito plate. One with chicken the other with asada. Would go back if we are ever in the area! Thank you for the great meal and friendly service.

I have visited 2 times now and the food is authentic recipes from Mexico. The sauces are made from Chile peppers and the tortillas are so fresh.

The food was legit! Chorizo breakfast burrito FTW! Friendly service, friendly locals. This place had the most whimsical collection of souvenirs of any place I stopped in Texas.

This is a real TexMex restaurant in the classic Texas way. Not a place you will see as fancy, yet this is the real thing. Enchiladas are one of my favorites along with their burritos. When in Mount Calm, don’t miss this place. JW
