Mannie has Jedi mind powers. Idk where he gets his magic. 2 work buddies and myself walked in hungry and only knowing they had great reviews. We arrived and Mannie took awesome care of us. This guy is next level. He could be a maitre d’ in a Michelin restaurant. Having eaten at that level, you get to appreciate the dedication to the craft. Food was as good as any I had in Mexico, which is saying something. You will not be disappointed unless you really hate mexican food or can’t stand great service.

I booked a part of 16 two days in advance, knowing our group would have delicious food, great service, and delicious margaritas. We weren’t disappointed! This is my go-to Tex Mex spot in Alexandria, and I always recommend it to friends. Absolutely love it.

I live in Texas and eat a lot of Tex Mex. I don’t know if this qualifies as Tex Mex but it is very good. I like the salsas that come with the chips. The green chili salsa is tangy and just a little spicy. I ordered the chorizo enchiladas that comes with fruit and your choice of potatoes or refried beans. Other members of my party ordered the vegatable enchilada lunch with salsa verde, refried beans, and sour cream and an egg and cheese enchilada with refried beans and fruit. The brunch menu items come with fruit. All were delicious and a lot of food. Our server was Manfredi and he was awesome.

Dos Hermanos is certainly deserving of its 4.6 rating on Google. I dined here with a friend right at opening time this past Tuesday. It was my very first visit here. Teresa was our server, and a delightful young lady. I ordered chicken enchiladas with tomatillo sauce and refried beans and it was delicious . You could tell from the nice presentation this entrée was the real deal. The thick, crunchy chips and chunky salsa were great, too! Beautiful dining room, pleasant service and nice ambiance…I’ll definitely be back!

We feel so lucky to live within walking distance of Dos Hermanos, dine there at least once per week and are never disappointed. Every staff member is warm and welcoming, service is always excellent, and the food is consistently fresh and delicious. All of this to be enjoyed in an artistic and creative atmosphere, over the best skinny margaritas in the region!

My wife and I have come to Dos Hermano’s several times. It’s walking distance and we can have a few drinks without worrying about driving home. The food was never worth writing home about, but was okay. Our latest visit, however, will be our last visit.
My wife’s Margarita was overly sweet (too much simple syrup?) and the food was subpar, though edible. After the dishes were cleared, the waiter asked if we needed anything else. I said no and the bill was promptly placed in front of me with the implicit expectation that it was time to go, even though we had full drinks in front of us. I let him know that we would be taking our time to finish.
The worst part is they have started to add a 3% surcharge for using a credit card. They don’t tell you upfront and you only find out when you receive the bill. They can rationalize it all they want, but this doesn’t happen at good places.

We enjoyed our experience very much! We ordered the lamb special and the chicken/mushroom fajitas, while our girls got a chicken quesadilla to split. The lamb was FANTASTIC! Highly recommended. The fajitas were good, not memorable. The only thing that needs tweak is their house margaritas, in my opinion. They’re a bit sweet and tasted as if they’re made from a store-bought mix. Very drinkable, but not great. The atmosphere is excellent and the patio seating area really felt fun. The service was great. We’ll be back.

I had a delicious horchata and we enjoyed eating outside. The food was also delicious, I got the steak omelette and put half of it in a Pyrex container for lunch the next day! Their guacamole was market price and was a little over our budget, but I really appreciate them telling us the price and being respectful of our decision to get a different appetizer instead. We got the the Platonos Fritos and they were very good. We were too full to get dessert, but they had several tasty looking options. They did not rush us at all and we enjoyed a long slow meal. They also brought free chips and salsa, and it was a lot of chips so we didn’t even finish half of them.
