This place is fabulous. I had the Blueberry Kolache it was very fresh and still warm it was delicious. Katz Texas Hill County Pecan Coffee was wonderful, an excellent taste. I loved the atmosphere and I sat outside the cute cafe table was so nice. Customer Service was great Luke and Gavin were friendly and helpful. This place in San Marcos is a hidden Gem. ❣️

Go early, at least an hour before they close! Not sure how you run out of ALL the food a half hour before you close. I have been gone from the store now almost 20 minutes and they’re still “open”? I cant see myself going out of the way to go again, they may or may not have food??? Its a good thing their kolache business is obviously doing well enough where they dont need that many customers.

I love the kolaches. I dont love the sudden increase of price WHILE leaving original prices on website and removing all prices in the store. Of course they won’t honor the advertised price. 2.50 for a “special” flavor fruit kolache and 2.00 for fruit and cream is not the $1.80 listed on website. I get prices change but you should let people know before they order.

I have been going to this location almost daily for a long time. Unfortunately, for the past several weeks, quality/consistency has dropped and there is never anything to buy. I get there 1 hr after the store has been opened and most of the time over half of the items are either sold out already or just not ready yet. In the past, it was normal to have a line out the door and yet stock was never a concern. Perhaps there are new bakers that need some serious training to get caught up on things.
Often the music is so loud in the store, with employees singing on top of that, that you cannot communicate your order to staff. Very often you come home with the wrong items or missing items.

The quality is not what it used to be. They changed the chorizo and cheese kolache. Whatever new sausage they’re using is a pan sausage. Was reallly disappointed with the new version.

It’s a quick breakfast please which is affordable. I really love this place and they have turkey sausage or veggies sausage kolache for people with dietary restrictions. Whenever I am in a hurry I just drop by and grab few kolaches for breakfast or lunch.

I came here almost daily for years. Most of the staff knew me by name at one point. Sadly I can’t bring myself to come here anymore because the quality has taken a steep nosedive. The bread is always raw and soggy. The bread was the beast part and now it’s just a gooey mess. It doesn’t help that the prices keep going up.
I hate to say it but I’d go to Shipley’s before I came back to dos. Really sad to see a San Marcos staple go bad.
