However, the customer service was very disappointing.
About five minutes after we left, we came back because our child seemed to have lost their hat. We simply asked if they could check with the staff member who had cleaned the area where we were sitting.
Even after standing there for over 15 minutes, they just kept saying “please wait” without ever asking the staff.
I weren’t asking for compensation—just a simple question to the cleaner about whether they had seen the hat. I can’t understand why that was so difficult.
I ordered a huge burrito and needed to use a knife and fork because it was quite unwieldy. One of the best features of Dos Coyotes is its salsa bar with a wide variety of flavors to choose from. They pair nicely with the included chips and help add flavor to the many dishes available.
Come here if you want good food quickly and cheaply. It’s well worth trying to find parking at a busy hour in the small parking lot outside.
4/5 as I expected more flavor. Wasn’t enough spices/flavor as I expected. Would be back to try again in future.
The food is delicious. It has a fresh look and taste, lots of flavor. The seasonal menu items are innovative with a farm to fork focus. My favorites in the regular menu are the Crispy Bobby Tacos and the Potato Tacos.
The shredded beef, in the Bobby Tacos, is delicious and fork shreddable tender. Yum. The potato in the potato tacos are griddled and served open face topped with a cilantro ranch cabbage slaw. The slaw had a drizzle of the dressing so it wasn’t drenched in it. But darn, the combo was tasty. I opted to have the sour cream and gauc served on the side so my taco didn’t get mushy. You can add pulled pork to the potato tacos for an added charge of 85 cents each.
The salsa bar is quite impressive. Lots of choices in mild, medium, and hot spice levels. All the salsas are fresh made. But they don’t give out complimentary chips besides the handful given with each entree plate. However a basket of chips is $1.50.
If you are sensitive to noise level, the dining room acoustics amplify noise. Oddly, it can get loud in there even when everyone is speaking at a normal volume.
Another cool tidbit is that the Red Bull statue in front of Dos is kinetic. The head moves. If you can reach, give it a tap.
