Food was very good. Ive never had anything like it before. I tasted a little bit of what the rest of my family had and it was all good, very unique and different than the food I am used to eating. Try it out if you are looking for something new.

Our experience was ok Food wasn’t good at all.was cold.and we got horrible horrible diarrhea!!! Like we was served, not fresh food.. was old reheated up food I believe they can do alot better with there food..make fresh please..No more diarrhea’s!!! There menu looked really good..just wish it was more fresh and not served cold food.. They have lots of great potential for doing alot better by upping there game..Hot ,Fresh food!! The platter with meats maybe not such huge chunks..putting them on nice skewers with fresh veggies shish kabob..and rest that over your rice.. Flavors was spot on..yes!! Just felt it could be made more fresh and served nicely hot..felt like food was reheated up..other than that very very nice people! Just thinking you may need little more help..with workers and be a good team together ❤️

This was our first time to visit this restaurant. My husband and I enjoyed our lunch so much. We ordered the repochetas with chicken and the enchiladas dobladas with beef. The food was amazing, tasted great, and great price for what we received. The atmosphere was nice and loved the fun decorations on the wall. We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone that wants a fun place to eat and you won’t be disappointed. We are definitely planning on trying other things on the menu in the near future.

We ordered chicken with plantain chips for takeout and it was delicious! The chicken was moist and flavorful, and the plantains were warm and tasty. The coleslaw was nice with a sweet-and-sour flavor, also.
Looking forward to trying more of their cuisine. So glad to have such good food in Manitowoc County!!!

Got the mixed Papusa they were all right. Got the repa and the enchilada dobladas and they were phenomenal!!! Like literally so good I’m mad I didn’t order more. I ordered for take out. They were really busy(Saturday) but they had my food out in 25 minutes ish. I will definitely be back! Atmosphere got a 4 star because it was nothing spectacular. Pretty clean average restaurant.
Update- went again and ate inside. The person working was very nice. Instead of ordering the mixed Papusa I ordered the cheese Papusa and they were 10/10!
Also ordered the plantains with cheese and cream and even my picky child liked them. He ordered a cheeseburger and it was very large and he said it was very good.

First time trying Nicaraguan fare; it was great! The service was great. Loved the new textures and flavor combinations… yucca, fried plantain. Queso frito definitely feels at home in Wisconsin. Definitely want to go back to try other dishes.
Food was served quickly. Prices were reasonable.

I’ve eaten here twice now and very happy to have Dos Caminos in the Manitowoc community. The service was very good, the food came out quickly, and the menu has options that aren’t offered anywhere else. I got two different yucca dishes as well as the tostones ( both times) and the fried cheese today. Everything was very fresh and authentic. I highly recommend trying the traditional dishes or the specials, as they are dishes that you can’t get anywhere else in the area. I’ll be coming back again and will recommend it to friends.

Just skip this place. Drove four hours from Minneapolis for Nicaraguan food. This place was horrible. I knew things were bad when they brought the corn chips and ketchup like salsa. Central America restaurants don’t serve corn chips. Many things on the menu were not available. I ordered Vigoron, a classic Nicaraguan dish with chicharones, yuca and a cabbage salad. The chicharones were the American “pork rind” snacks you buy at a grocery store in the chip isle. It was an insult to be served the food. If you have ever had real, fresh chicharones, you understand. The person eating with me is from Nicaragua, was appalled by what the supposed “nacatamal” was like that they were served. It was missing traditional ingredients and was just bad.
If you want good, authentic Nicaraguan food, go to La Marimba in Hillsboro, WI.
