Working nearby for the week and stopped in for a late dinner (7-ish) based on the good reviews. Light crowd, maybe 6-8 tables occupied. Got seated immediately and the waiter was prompt with my drink and basket of chips and salsa.
I ordered the steak fajitas. Arrived sizzling hot. I asked the waiter for some hot sauce, and he brought their house made sauce. Moderate level of heat and complimented the fajitas nicely.
Despite being in a dry county and no beer availability, I’ll definitely return to try other offerings, but I do miss having a Dos Equis or Negra Modelo.

I was passing through Albany on a country drive, and noticed Dos Amigos I stopped for lunch before heading back to Russell Springs. I was pleasantly surprised that the Seafood Salad had grilled calamari and tilapia, along with the listed shrimp and crab meat.

Their food is usually always good. Unfortunately, more often than not they get the order wrong…. Or forget your food… or the portions are NEVER the same. I’m too the point I would rather not eat there again. Even my kids notice the portions each time we go.

Terrible. Poor service, dark, dreary… food was gross. NO spices in the chicken chimicanga. Just a role of tough chicken. Guacamole? No idea what that runny greenish stuff was. Rice was ok. No offer to refill water, had to get up and ask how to pay! Then, nobody at the register. Outside is filthy!!
This is ‘the best’ of Albany?!

We used to like this little restaurant, but the food quality & customer service have greatly decreased lately.
Their prices have remained the same, but food quantity is now half (see picture). I’m not going back to that place unless management fixes its issues.

The best food in town! Very well theme, authentic Mexican food. Chips & Salsa with the white cheese dip. Steak tacos, chimichanga, everything was tasteful. Come check them out!

My husband and I took my parents to dinner. Unfortunately we chose this place. Though there is not much to choose from in this podunk little town. We got to the restaurant around three o’clock and stood at the door waiting to be seated at least fifteen minutes. We placed our order of steak and shrimp fajita for 2. When the food came out, the server placed chicken and steak fajita in front of us. I asked, where are the shrimp? The server said that’s chicken and steak. I said I see that, but I ordered steak and shrimp. He was openly aggravated with me that I did not want the steak and chicken. He asked me what did I want? I said, I want steak and shrimp fajita. I am not sure why I was expected to eat what I didn’t order. Nor do I understand the attitude given since I am certain of what I ordered. Not to mention three other people at the table confirmed that I did assuredly order steak and shrimp. My father wanted some extra salsa with his meal. He asked three times before they brought any. And my mother ordered chicken wings that came when we were almost done eating. Absolutely ridiculous won’t be coming back.
