Since 1981, Doria’s Haus of Pizza has been the premier Italian Restaurant in Costa Mesa. 41 years later we still have the best pizza in town. As a family owned restaurant we pride ourselves in our food and we want to share that with our community. We offer great pizza, great pasta and sandwiches, and plenty of beer and wine to enjoy while you watch some baseball on any of our TV’s. Try some of our Daily Specials for lunch! I ordered a small chicken parm sub. Soggy. Immediately fell apart. Little pieces of chicken (no cutlet) and very minimal at that. Absolutely disgusting. I threw the entire thing in the trash. Sauce was trash. Cheese tasted cheap. I want a refund. The two girls at the counter very very nice though.

If I lived here, I’d be a regular. Such a fun little place! We came in late enough they were only offering take out, which was totally okay with us, so we got a menu and ordered. The server was so kind, gave us plenty of time to think, and knew the menu well. She formatted our order in a way that would save us a couple bucks, which was just sweet.
It was a 10-15 minute wait while they made our gluten free pizza, and everyone was so friendly! The decor is a fun kind of slapdash- nothing quite matched, but that made me love it more.
The pizza was BOMB- which is a big deal for gluten free pizza. They did not scrimp on the toppings.
Overall, it was an absolutely lovely experience and I am hoping I get to come back on another visit!

hey pizza fanatic here! i’d stay clear of this joint if i were you, you can get better pizza from little caesar’s and i mean that whole heartedly… nothing met expectations, the dough was dry and flavorless and it just didn’t give the experience a PIZZA joint should. The cheese wasn’t appetizing either, with the dry dough combo it just leaves a bad taste in ur mouth. The bolognese barely even feels like ur eating a plate of spaghetti and it’s drowned in sauce when you open the container and for $50? this place simply isn’t worth your money. if you do choose to give this place a shot load up the toppings as much as you can lmao and don’t say i didn’t warn you about the dough, have a goodnight/day everyone god bless!

I got the 9″ turkey and cheese sub to go. Fresh and good flavor. The inside is old-school vibe and the pizza I saw on tables looked GOOD. Service was quick and efficient. In the same parking lot is The Caffeine Club if you’re inclined to take a sandwich there and get a drink and some computer work/studying done.

My boyfriend and I wanted to a new pizza spot in the area and were not disappointed! It’s such a cute old school spot. We walked in and were seated right away.
It’s feels cozy like you’re right at home. The servers were very sweet, quick, and efficient! We walked here from our apartment, but there is a free parking lot that does get a little full, especially on the weekend. The pizza was bomb and everything is very affordable. We’ll definitely be back to try more on the menu!

Side of ravioli: (3/5) The ravioli wasn’t the greatest, it was cold and pretty hard. The meat sauce on top was delicious though!
Side Caesar salad: (4/5) It’s a nice little side salad.
Definitely simple just lettuce and dressing, but a little too much of it. The dressing itself is delicious!!
Sausage and pepperoni pizza: (5/5) The pizza is simple, yet very flavorful. The crust is SOO good! Definitely worth ordering!
Tiramisu: (3/5) This wasn’t exactly the flavor I was expecting, but it wasn’t too bad. It was moist and flavorful for what it was! Wouldn’t order again.

This place was so bomb. The dough was cooked to perfection… You can tell the freshness of the dough and the meat used for the pizza was really good. I started with an antipasta salad with Italian dressing and ended with a canoli to go. Haven’t tried it yet, but I have high hopes considering everything was really good. The people here were nice and down to earth. Going to be a new “home” tradition for me.

Solid old school pizza place! Feels like it’s been there forever but the food is just as good as always. I love that you can choose thick crust pizza and the antipasto took me back to my childhood before Italian places started trying to be fancy or cheap or the worst, healthy! They are also generous with the cheese. We will be back soon…

Great food and service! Tonight the pizza was so good and the pasta hot and fresh. The sausage was cooked just right and not over done like it usually is. Service was excellent! Fast, friendly and very accommodating. Love the dive vibe but the place needs to be deep cleaned! Walls are disgustingly dirty (don’t look!), tables, chairs, booths need to be wiped down and the bathrooms are so bad you don’t want to use them. Repairs need to be done throughout. Take those plastic placemats off the walls and update the decor a bit! This place could be a gold gem if it was cleaned up, repaired and put on a deep cleaning schedule. You are already winning when it comes to the food and service.
