Amazing service and delicious authentic Thai food! Absolutely loved how flavor and spicy everything was. This place reminded me of Thailand. Can’t wait to be back!!!

Wonderful food. Quickly served. I got the green curry and it was amazing.
DO NOT oder the hot tea. It’s truly just a tea bag. 🙁 But, that does not take away from the delicious food. I ordered it with 2 chili peppers which was just a little heat and perfect.

Stopped here twice while on a business trip. Once for a small evening bite and once for lunch. Both times the food was outstanding. Great quality and flavors. Family run business. I would be a regular here if I lived nearby.

I ordered take out from here twice: the first time I thought it was very good, the second time I was not impressed at all. Let’s start with what I didn’t like: the pork belly dish (see photo) was so so tough to point where I decided it actually wasn’t edible. Awful. The drunken noodles were good, but the portion was very small – much smaller than takeout competitors in the area and definitely not shareable. The good – the green curry and pad Thai were both very flavorful and I enjoyed those dishes. Maybe I caught them on an off day the second trip.

Recommendations: Pad Thai, Mango Sticky Rice
The pad thai and mango sticky rice were soo good. I still remember the texture of the sticky rice to this day. The pad thai was seasoned just right. The portion size was really good too. Next time I’m craving Thai I will visit again!

I highly recommend the Esan menu if you’re in the mood for northeastern Thai cuisine—it’s spicier and more unique. In my opinion, the Esan menu is even better than the Bangkok one. Their papaya salad is excellent, with a flavor profile similar to Lao and Khmer styles.

Can’t remember the last time that I had Thai food this delicious! The service was great and prompt! We loved everything but the Pad See Ew and Crispy Chicken were our favorites! Love this place!

Donsak Thai Restaurant was an absolute delight. Despite being quite busy, the staff were incredibly accommodating, promptly asking if we had made a reservation. Although we hadn’t, they managed to seat us within just two minutes. The staff exuded warmth and efficiency, creating a welcoming atmosphere with their great energy. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated and impeccably clean.
We began our meal with some refreshing Thai iced tea, followed by delectable gyozas, Thai fried rice with chicken, and a rich green curry. Every dish was perfect, bursting with authentic flavors and freshness. I was thoroughly impressed with my entire experience and am eagerly looking forward to returning for the sticky mango dessert.

Absolutely incredible pad Thai! Crab fried rice was probably equally awesome had we not started with the Pad Thai, lol. Nice drink menu and friendly staff. It just happened to be a block over from our hotel, but I would make a trip to this place if I was in DC.

Very awesome authentic Thai restaurant especially local dishes in DC area. I can say it is not easy to find Thai food that has very original taste like this. I had Som Tam Pu Palar or Papaya salad with fermented crab and Thai anchovy. (A popular street food dish in Thailand) That was so so good. For me, everything was perfect – appearance, smell, texture, taste – 100% Thai Style. I really recommend this place if you are Thai or whoever wants to get real Thai flavor. Also the service were nice and friendly. The dining room might be a little tight when is crowded, but they has outdoor seating available.
The restaurant is located in Woodley park, near the Woodley Park-Zoo/Adam Morgan Metro station. Very convenient to get there.
