Most excellent! The service was friendly and the food was phenomenal. We had the seafood basket which was a steal at $8.95. The fish and shrimp were fried to perfection. The hush puppies were crisp and flavorful, and the coleslaw divine. Watch out for that tartar sauce, it is dangerous. I could chug that heavenly nectar. We will stop here whenever we are passing by!

This is the neatest place to eat in Picayune. The owners are wonderful people – absolutely Love them! The food is delicious! We got the catfish plate that came with the catfish, fries, potato salad and buttered bread. The batter is very light and crisp and seasoned very well. Everything was hot and service was great. Oh and try the fried pickles too

Great atmosphere as soon as you walk in the door. The customers were happy, along with the staff. I love that they only take cash. Keep big business out of small business. They don’t need to pay fees to big banks. I love that they had my favorite root beer, Barq’s . The seafood was cooked perfectly. We got a shrimp Po boy, ( the bread was perfect as well) a shrimp platter, a shrimp basket, a cheeseburger and a pecan ( best that I’ve had. It was like butter) . Everything was delicious. The potato salad was most likely the best I’ve ever had. And the tartar sauce…. I have no idea what they do, but daaanng. I wasn’t salty either. Thank you!

In the area for work and was looking for some fresh fish, prepped anyway except for fried. The grilled catfish plate did not disappoint! It was fresh and cooked to perfection…cut like butter! I will be back!

We accidently chanced to stop in. Best Club Sandwich my wife ever had! Never had it that way as we are from IL and they only make it with turkey. I had the Shrimp Basket and it was the best breading on the fried shrimp ever! Fries were made perfectly! Loved the homey atmosphere and wonderful service! Would highly recommend this place!

We love the shrimp & oyster plates. Fish on bun is really good. They know customers by name and i call it in say im calling to pick up & its always hot & service is friendly. This is our local place for seafood.

I think this is the best place in Picayune to get a delicious seafood lunch or dinner. I always order the fish and shrimp basket because it’s loaded with fresh, tasty catfish, and perfectly cooked, plump shrimp, frech fries, and garlic bread. Very filling and also, very inexpensive as well. The owners and the staff always greet u with a friendly smile soon as you walk through the door. And I personally love how easy it is to call ahead and place my order, so that my food is always ready as soon as I arrive. I recommend to anyone who hasn’t tried this restaurant yet, to please do. You will not be disappointed.

I figured they would have good food considering it was extremely busy, and seemed to be busy quite often. However, the food was not all that good. I had the catfish and it seemed like it was boiled and then just sprinkled with lemon pepper seasoning. The the drinks are individual can drinks they keep it a cooler. One of us had a fried shrimp plate, and the shrimp was cooked so long that it was entirely overcooked- I mean you know it’s over cooked when the shrimp itself is turning brown from the frying. I have to say the only good thing about the meal was the coleslaw, they have amazing coleslaw. Another issue that I find is that they do not take credit cards/debit cards. They do have an ATM machine right at the register if you don’t have cash, but that seems really sketchy to me.

Something happened since I have been here last, it’s been about 6 months, but quality has declined it seems. Some of the food has become generic.. like the stuffed crab and shrimp. MAJORITY bread crumbs! It was better when I first tried this place but now… not so much.
