Our go-to spot for breakfast any time of day. Pancakes are huge, chicken fried steak is delicious, and there is usually the compliment of old timers lingering over coffee (the telltale sign you’re in the right place). Service is always friendly, the coffee is always hot.

An old roadhouse style building from the 50s. Has a bar that’s open all hours. The service was pretty good, and the food was beyond expectations. Best pancakes I’ve had in years. It’s a good spot for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Get over the general decor. It’s the food and service.

I Love Don’s Diner. Great atmosphere, Great service, very polite employees. Amazing food and at a price that is well worth the Great quality of the food served. I’d like to shout out to Jessica, she’s a waitress there. She is sweetheart, nice, very polite and will make sure everything is OK and Great. This picture is the newer added menu item, cheese fries. I added Chilli, bacon and green onion. For just a little extra cost. I recommend Don’s Diner

This Diner is very old and dated. Thought it was going to be a nice cozy diner food and it was a big mistake. Ordered Salmon and Steak and salads. Salad was lettuce out of a bag with the little carrots in it and croutons thrown on top. Salmon was cooked with no spices at all and it was overcooked. Steak was ordered rare to medium. Came out, I cut it open, it was refrigerator cold in the middle. I was told they have a new cook that has no experienced. They will order me a new steak out. At that point we decided to just call it. Ask for the bill was giving a bill for $21 paid the bill and I’m going to find every site I can to vent my frustration for $21 for food we never ate. Somebody should call the health department and get them in there. No experience Cook is probably going to kill somebody. Stay away.

Steak dinner, steak and eggs, cheese omelet, turkey dinner. Just a few of my favorites.

The cook on July 27th about 4pm or 4:30 really knows his stuff. Pics below of his handywork.

Steak was rare and eggs were over easy

I expected a Dive atmosphere, but the service and food were even worse. $20 for corned beef hash that came out of a can? Are you kidding me? I at least expected the corned beef to be cooked in house. But it was canned corned beef hash and it was over $20. It was mediocre service, $6 cup of crappy drip coffee, below average atmosphere, and trash quality food. I thought this would be a hidden gem late night 24 hour spot that must be open for a reason, but I was sadly mistaken. I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but I wish I had known better, now you know, sorry not sorry.

Loved this. Opened 24 hours a day. Food is delicious and portions and perfect. The waitress took down our large order and even with Karaoke blaring from the back she was able to get it all and it came out quickly. Probably my new go to. We did pick up food to go the other night too it was just as good. We will be returning. The kids also enjoyed themselves.

Came in the mood for pancakes and got exactly what we wanted. Huge, thick, hearty, delicious, filling pancakes. The place itself didn’t seem very clean and honestly didn’t expect much from the menu but was pleasantly surprised by the pancakes. Also looks to be a great spot to just come and have some shareable dessert if you’re having a major sweet tooth. Seems they take pride in their sweet treats Especially the strawberry cheese cake, I think it was. When that baby was brought out, all eyes gravitated. Service was mixed. We had one very personable, friendly gal that greets you warmly and makes you want to return and the other seemed maybe she was having an off day. Service was slow but we enjoy that about certain restaurants to a degree. Took some time to get water and coffee refills but let us sit and chat a long while after food was gone. The other menu items didn’t appeal to me. Maybe because they use real food pics and have an old menu but the items we had are the items we’d return for. Has a truck stop where everybody knows your name kinda vibe.

I don’t normally do this. But honestly this was one of the worst food I have ever gotten from a restaurant, especially considering the outrageous price.

I ordered a omelet with bacon, ham and sausage (I asked if they sub out the sausage for mushrooms and she said yes) and one pancake plus a second pancake on the side. The only thing good was the pancakes. The egg it’s self was gross tasting, thin and obviously from a carton. The ham and bacon pieces were so small you could hardly taste them and can’t pick them up with a fork, the mushrooms were obviously straight from a can and weren’t sauteed or anything. This was below a Denny’s quality for the price of a Jake’s cafe or any of the mukilteo cafe family restaurants price. Absolutely worse food I’ve ever gotten. To make it just that more annoying they charged me $.75 for the mushrooms. Which many restaurants don’t do when they substitute an ingredient. So for all that it was roughly $35 with tip and tax for one person. They really have gone down hill since the last time I’ve gone. Will not go again. Extremely disappointed.
