Outstanding performance by Don’s Country Kitchen and staff. So many great choices and the option to sit outside. The Seafood Stuffed Hashbrowns Benedict was absolutely amazing. My only regret is not being able to finish the generous portions or asking for a doggy bag.
Local tip, know the street sweeper schedule before choosing to dine outside.

Great breakfast! I got biscuits and gravy with eggs. Really good. Good thick bacon, fluffy pancakes with good flavor! Coffee was good too!

On vacation here and did a quick diner search and WOW, we couldn’t be more happy with our pick.
I didn’t grab photos of what we ordered, but OMG, it was absolutely delicious.
Wifey got Don’s big omelet, daughter got their breakfast quesadilla, and I got the Oklahoma scrabble……. Let me tell ya, the food was hot, delicious and the portions were very generous.
They claim to have the best biscuits and gravy, to which they are really good and it’s real sausage gravy, not that premade BS you get from Sysco foods that all other restaurants use. My homemade sausage gravy is honestly better. Theirs is really damn good though.
The hash browns, cooked to perfection with the right amount of crispiness. Buttermilk biscuits light and fluffy. Hand pressed sausage patties, not that store bought silver dollar sized crap.

The staff is super friendly and attentive to your needs. If anyone else says the service is bad, it’s probably because you’re a probably either a “Karen” or a “Kyle” with an entitled bitchy attitude.

We’ll for sure be back before we head home to North Carolina.

Love that they have half portions on the menu. The biscuit was so good, very soft; the gravy was fillled with sausage. Better than some biscuits and gravy I’ve had down south!! Their waffles have small holes- IYKYK (ok I asked and the big holes r Belgian and small holes r old fashioned!). Coffee was good. The home fries actually arrive crispy if you ask for them that way!!

Possibly the worst service ever. Waited 5-7 minutes for my coffee & an other 20 minutes for “freshly squeezed orange juice “ that came from a box.
Sever never check in when food arrived .
Hands down the worst corn beef hash, tasted like fish. Left it all on the plate , didn’t bother asking about it.
3 servers on .. not very busy…but they all lack attention to detail.
Won’t be coming back.

We parked on the street with our 24’ Class C no problem. The food was good I enjoyed their French toast. My husband had the stuffed hash browns also good. Place is really old but food was good.

Visiting California from Texas…this place is such a great find! Great food with humorous decorations and friendly staff.
We ordered two meals with additional waffle for our little. The meal turned out to be my breakfast and lunch– very satisfying.
Our conclusion: would love to eat breakfast everyday here.

I’m truly surprised by positive reviews for this place and very mislead because I don’t know if I should consider checking out places based on their ratings.
Service was very good.
Food was awful! Scrambles eggs ordered for a baby came undercooked so I had to request to cook it again. Waffle combo was the worst I ever had. Eggs and bacon came several minutes before waffle did so my food started getting cold. Waffle was chewy, stretchy, and dry. Eggs were again undercooked. I asked for over easy and the whites were not cooked either. They didn’t have real butter to substitute for margarine. My husband had blueberry pancakes. The frozen blueberries they added inside pancakes were hard and rubbery. Fresh berries can be found all year round, thanks to green house but even frozen blueberries could have brought to the plate in a better way. Home potatoes were absolutely tasteless, burned onions and bell peppers, large potatoes slightly burned.
Food was very disappointing. The only thing good was cottage cheese which they probably dont make in house.
Place was dirty dining floors and bathrooms and its not even a weekend.
We are never going back!
