This place is great. Though don’t get me wrong, this isn’t your typical family breakfast/brunch sit-down restaurant. This is your corner coffee spot with good coffee and great breakfast sandwiches. It’s the place you go to after a hard morning workout when you want an easy meal and to be surrounded by amazing people, good conversation, and great coffee. Donny and his family are some of the kindest people around and are genuinely interested in your well being and ensuring you enjoy your experience there.

Just an awesome and wholesome cafe. Great people. Outstanding service. Even when the line got long, people’s spirits were still in high praise for Donny & Rosie just emit such positive vibes. We had the bacon, egg & cheese with a 6 cheese flavored bagel bun. Delicious.

Awesome place: Everything bagel w Lox n cream cheese, avocado & capers! Mmmm. Sweet bagel w peanut butter, banana & granola, open faced, filling & nutritious. Chase it w a coffee or berry smoothie! Quick service with a small cafe atmosphere.

Donny’s is amazing! Great atmosphere w a cool cycling vibe and Christian owner who you can instantly tell really just loves all people! The food they prepare here is also absolutely top notch! I would easily expect to pay $20 for the artisan sandwich I had so it’s a super deal for $7-9! I will definitely visit again when m next in San Diego! Even if I’m staying somewhere else in town it is worth a bit of a drive to pop over here! The coffee is also excellent with very smooth tasting espresso shots that are pulled well!

Cute little out of the way place that had great coffee, nice owners, and amazing avocado toast. Only draw back was that the coffee was toooooooo hot. I know…it’s coffee…but there is such a thing as too hot. Burnt my mouth…that was no Bueno. Lesson learned for the next time I visit.

Super friendly. We went based on reviews and were not disappointed. Very accommodating to customize sandwiches. Out friend dropped and broke a plate – they were very cool about it and immediately offered to remake their sandwich for free. Mocha was tasty. Only minor quibble was that we got three strawberry smoothies and one of them was waaaay too diluted. I am 100% sure that if we had mentioned it to them they would have fixed it, but we had plenty already so didn’t bother.
