I literally had the most amazing experience in here today! I was given a gift card and had never been to Donnie D’s…. so I decided to venture in and purchase Bagels to take to my co-workers. The staff was AHHHMAZING – so very helpful! Gave me options, a value deal, helpful suggestions. Ill be back! Decided to try the chocolate cherry bagel and oh my – heavenly!

One of the best breakfast bagels I’ve had. It was DELICIOUS, do you hear me! I had a bacon, egg and cheddar on a plain bagel. That bagel was buttery, soft, good and toasted just right. Egg was good and fluffy. The whole thing was amazing and I need everyone else to go there and take notes!

Always good! They are a top notch sandwich shop! The one thing I would say is the most popular bagels (i.e. Asiago, jalapeno cheddar) seem to run out at Daleville location before lunch a lot. Definitely a good sign but on Saturday or Sundays should have more of those available!

The steak, egg, and cheese bagel on a cheese bagel was pretty good. The steak could’ve been seasoned a little more. I wanted to try the cinnamon hazelnut coffee, but the container was empty. I was okay with the 100% Columbian coffee. I will return and try something different. …So I was able to try the ham, egg, and cheese on a Asiago bagel and let me tell you this…DELICIOUS!!! I was also able to try the freshly brewed cinnamon hazelnut coffee and it really made me happy . I’m looking forward to also tasting the pumpkin crunch bagel with cream cheese . Great morning! We got bulk bagels for home and sandwiches in the restaurant. They were delicious! The wait was not very long, especially since we were in a crowd! The people were super nice. Having a bagel shop and deli in one is genius for this area. Highly recommend going for quick breakfast or a little date.

Great Bagel Shop! Tons of types to choose from and they are super big. Lots of sandwiches or just get a smear. Looks like they use Boars Head meat, which is usually top quality. I got a Lox and bagel, which was excellent, only could finish 1 half. Great Local place, worth a stop.

As a north easterner, I never expected to have a bagel spot in Roanoke that would rival most shops from back home, but Donnie D’s hit the nail on the head! Service was slightly slower than I’d hoped, but the final product made it well worth it! 10/10 will be back!

As others have stated, service has gone downhill. I never found the employees very friendly. Also, anything over $7 for a bagel is bonkers. Look at Bodo’s in Charlottesville. Place is always packed, but service is efficient and they NEVER charge anywhere near $14 for a bagel sandwich !!!

My husband and I while traveling through to visit our son& his family ate breakfast on Sunday Jan 4th and it was delicious!. The staff were friendly, and we were served within 10 minutes.Our food was fresh and hot. I would highly recommend this shop!
