Had the roast beef sub – best deli sandwich I’ve ever had! Bread was fresh, ingredients were fresh and the Sandwich was layered perfectly! The owner was so nice, personable, and friendly! If you like sub sandwiches this is the place you want to go!!! Wife had the the Italian sub and said her sub was the best she’s ever had as well! Do yourself a favor and go here!

Let me tell you… there is not a better sandwich in Peoria so stop looking! Nestled into a mall in the quaint downtown is the pinnacle of sandwich artistry. After walking in and seeing Donna and family working, I knew we were about to have an experience worth journaling about. We got the roast beef and Italian subs and split them between the two of us. The two subs and a bag of chips were very reasonably priced, and for the quality, we got more than I could have asked for. My eyes watered and I looked to the heavens to hear an outpouring of angels as I took each bite. By the time I was finished, tears of joy streamed down my face and I knew I had experienced something truly special. If I find myself again in Peoria, I will go out of my way for Donna’s.

Italian Special and the meatball sub were excellent. Donna’s is affordable and literally a 45 second walk from the civic center. Overlook the dated mall ambiance and you will be rewarded with deliciousness.

I came across this place when asking for the location of another business in the building. The very friendly and personable woman working there (Donna?) seemed to know her customers and quickly pointed out what I was looking for. The sub sandwich I ordered on fresh baked bread was overflowing with meats and toppings and was delicious. Very friendly place!

Grest food, generous portions, and reasonably priced. I had the roast beef sandwich on rye. It was excellent! Donna and her niece were working, and they are the nicest people! I highly recommend this deli.

Good sandwiches, quick friendly service, and very reasonably priced. Very tasty bread. I work in downtown Peoria and this is my go to if I want a sandwich. Not the best sandwiches in the world (you may be able to tell I love a good sandwich), but in my opinion best sandwich shop downtown (and maybe best in Peoria).
