The woman working in the morning is laxed and has no basic customer service skills. I entered the store, and she was helping a customer without noticing me. After finishing with that customer, she answered a phone call and still didn’t acknowledge my presence. She then went to the back, returned, and while still on the phone, continued to ignore me. I decided to leave and went to Golden Crust. I frequent this location but won’t return due to this experience. This isn’t the first time I’ve had an issue with this lady. She is also just unpleasant to deal with even when attentive. Just left incase management actually cares

They advertise a lunch special Monday – Friday(which they do not honor). They should have something stating that it depends on what Friday it is. The next thing you you pay $13 – $16 for a meal and you are told that you have to get salad, if not you have to pay an additional $2 for steam vegetables or coleslaw. You are not getting a special, you are buying full price from the menu and you can only get the side that they give with there lunch special. Ihave never seen this at any other Jamaican Restaurant and THIS IS RIDICULOUS AND A RIP OFF, I WILL NOT BE RETURNING.

Located along Powerline Rd., Donna’s offers breakfast, lunch, entrees, vegetarian dishes, sides, desserts, cold beverages, and natural juices at reasonable prices. Upon entering you would see a long broad counter where you order your food on one side and make your payment on the other side. Trays of various foods that was served were kept warm in the middle. There is no table seating at this location.
After overlooking the menu displayed on the wall, one of the employees prepared my order – brown stew chicken, which was served with rice & peas, fried plantains, and a small salad. Once I received my food, I quickly sat in my vehicle to eat. It was delicious and hitting the spot. The rice & peas was cooked to a soft consistency; the chicken was browned nicely, tender and full of flavor. The plantains was fried nicely and was sweet, and the salad was freshly prepared, but had no dressing or vinaigrette added. I was so hungry that I didn’t even care. I ate it as plain as it was.
I will surely return when I want food from Donna’s again.

I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to my worst enemy. It was my first time trying Jamaican food and I was greeted by “whatchu want?” And then looked at weird through the whole process when I didn’t understand what they’re saying and all them acting like I’m not speaking correct English. I asked for boneless chicken breast and they burst out into laughing and making fun of me “we don’t do none of that around here, never boneless” and asking me if I want gravy when I just ordered what was in the picture. I have no idea and I even told them it was my first time. The chicken was also almost flavorless and very dry. 0/10.

The men provide decent Customer Service. The woman especially the One with the drawn on eyebrows at this location and the one in Lauderhill lacks customer service. They’re attitude seem miserable or Mad In the face.
I had Stew fish. Not the best and not the worst. Tasted over cooked and a little old.
I will try them again in the future to see if anything changes for the better.

Holistic Relaxation
I’m almost sure they gave me old food. It didn’t look fresh so I was hesitant to even order. I ordered the brow stewed fish. Immediately after eating only half the plate I had a bad stomach pain and had to vomit.. Needless to say I will never eat a any Donna’s restaurants again

Bottle cap in my oxtail. Wasted $36. Disappointed, I will never go back. I owned the fish place in Jamaica for 10 years in the mall and NEVER had this happen. Can’t even rate the food after this. This bottle could’ve had bleach in it for all I know. No excuse.

I would think by now during the busiest hour of business that you have more than just one person trying to serve 20 people in line. Espically when one of those people ordering multiple plates. I come in a 3 o’clock. There are no patties and all I get is told that it is sold out for the day. But wait aren’t you closed at 10? Apparently this location has ability to close a 6. Which even then is STILL 3 hours and you’re telling me you have no more patties in the building? Making it sound like they make it by hand or something which clearly it’s not. Caribbean food is by far top-tier for the taste, but if only the service would match, which makes it highly disappointing.
