A very good Vietnamese restaurant. I ordered the shrimp dumplings, then the duck, and later two more orders of shrimp dumplings because they stayed on my mind.

The prices are reasonable, and the quality makes them feel fair. I came with friends and everyone ended up ordering extra.

The staff were friendly and easy to talk to. The place has a calm, cared for feeling, like it is run by people who know their regulars.

Everything tasted fresh, especially the dumplings. It is the kind of freshness you notice immediately, without trying.

We finished everything, waved goodbye, and came back the next morning for round two. Simple food, done properly, with a little warmth in it.

Met for drinks near Alma-Marceau and crossed the bridge to find Vietnamese/asian food since we found that Asian restaurants in Europe typically span multiple countries’ cuisines. We worried about finding a seat but there is space deeper into the restaurant. We ordered the nem porc and papaya salad with crevettes to start. I like the rice wrapper used for the nem (many places use the egg roll vs. rice paper) and the papaya salad was small in portion size but very fresh and tasty. We chose a Cantonese shrimp wonton soup, traditional Vietnamese pho bo, Bo bun and their shrimp tofu specialty. We found all the dishes with good cuts of beef, stuffed wontons and in particular liked the very thin egg noodles in the soup and very thin rice noodle in the bun. The soups were very delicious. The pho soup spice-to-broth ratio exceeds what we find in California.

No AC, but there are fans, which keeps the space reasonably cool on a hot (but not humid day). A few tables outdoors, a few tables indoors, it’s small!

Food is 4* because there isn’t much variety. There is exactly one variation of beef pho (plus one chicken pho). If you order a bo bun (vermicelli noodle bowl), it will be served cold (as it should be!!!) but there is very little difference in flavor between the beef version and the pork version.

AVOID the vietnamese coffee! It was brown water, not coffee. It had zero coffee flavor, and prob zero caffeine AFAIK could tell from my reaction afterward.

You have no idea how delicious the noodles in this set meal are! We arrived quite late, but even though they were about to close, the staff kindly reopened the kitchen just to prepare a fresh dish for us. The owner and his wife are incredibly kind and welcoming. This place is absolutely worth trying! I’ll definitely come back the next time I’m in Paris!

Great little find, went for very late lunch. I ordered the shrimp papaya salad and the pork with rice. It was delicious. The restaurant has seats available inside and out, very friendly owners / staff. For non-French speaking individuals it might be a little tricky to order but it’s doable.

Food was great! Try the House Cocktail (white wine and lychee), I was sceptical but it was a pleasant surprise. The stir fry vegetable+shrimp and noodles was fantastic, and my whole party liked their food.
