My husband who is from Germany and I were in the Houston area yesterday and made it ya point to go to my old hometown of a Richmond to visit Döner & Gyros and it did not disappoint . It was super authentic and the service was great! Salim made sure that everyone in our family of five found what they wanted off of their menu which had a variety of options. I tried the spicy red sauce with my lamb bowl and it was awesome. My husband had the classic Döner with lamb and the whole thing was just like it should be right down to the bread used. Thank you for the wonderful experience and we will be back soon.

My husband and I stopped by and we loved the food! I ordered the Chicago gyro and my husband the Classic wrap. It was so yummy and we enjoyed every bite. The owner was super sweet and the food was ready in minutes!! We will be coming back! We recommend trying the red sauce they have on counter!

Wowza!!! I’ve lived around New Territory and idk why I never knew abt this place but I’m so glad I found it. Do you know how hard it is to find somewhere that sells fresh baklava??? I’ve been trying to find somewhere for two years. The chicken and the lamb were phenomenal, next time instead of 5 sides, I would get 3 sides so I can appreciate the bowl more. The meat is so flavored but not super spicy. ALSO, GET THE FALAFELS. They are very good. There is some construction going on around that area but make the drive. The food is so worth it. Plus, they have daily lunch combos which is great to try out different things. Next time, I want to get the doner with lamb or chicken or beef (I haven’t tried the beef yet).

Doner & Gyros in Richmond is a real treat! We ordered the German Doner, falafel wrap, sweet potato fries, and strawberry lemonade, and everything was delicious. The flavors were authentic and truly satisfying. The quality of the food is definitely there.
The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is due to some unexpected upcharges. We were asked if we wanted to adjust the spice level on our doner, and it turned out to be a $1 extra charge. Similarly, we were charged $1 for mixing beef and lamb in our gyro, even though both meats are priced the same individually. It would have been much better if these extra costs were clearly communicated upfront.
Despite that, the food was fantastic, and we’d definitely come back. Just be sure to ask about any potential extra charges when ordering!

@donergyrostx is a spot that I am a fan of, been coming here for years. This time we ordered the Chicago Gyro, Berlin Doner, Classic Shrimp Wrap, Chicken Doner Rice Bowl and Donermite Fries.
First off the Chicago Gyro is just perfect, simple and flavorful. next for the Berlin Doner which is doner, veggies and sauces is a crispy Flatbread, again another item that just hits the spot. Also another great option is the rice bowl, which you customize to your liking with the type of meat, veggies and sauce options.
Beside the food this is a nice clean restaurant, and the staff is helpful and friendly

First time eating here for lunch. I decided to have the shrimp wrap. With little to no wait at all my food was prepared and packed ready for me to take to go. With excellent service I was told if I had any questions about the menu I was more than welcome to ask and as I didn’t purchase a meal but they do offer a meal option with chips and a drink. They also have a few desserts I saw there. They have what looked like 2 options of nice, cold lemonade. They overall gave me a great experience for my first time there. I often forget to ask for no onions when I go to new places so my shrimp tacos was loaded with red onions so for the onion lovers out there no need to ask for extra onions, they got you.
