Dona Carmen’s was a pleasure to experience. It authentic Mexican cuisine. Given that we’d not been there before, the server was helpful to make our food choice which came out quickly and was delicious. It is nicely decorated. The bathroom was fine but could have been a bit cleaner but not nasty. We will go back.

First time at this location. The food was good and the flour tortilla was amazing. They were out of chorizo so we were not able to order the choriqueso. Not sure how a Mexican restaurant can be out of a main ingredient. Update 7/22/22 came back and this time they had chorizo.

La peor comida que e comido. Todo súper caro. Everything was disgusting. Super high price, food was nasty and tasted old. Service was horrible, lasted a long time to bring us our drinks while people who got there after us got them sooner. Literally go anywhere else.

Over priced, horrible service, took too long for the food to get to the table. They forgot the drinks, they give themselves the tip without asking. Food tasted bad, definitely not authentic. I would give a lower rating if it were possible.

The menu does not have prices, ordered a menudo special ,one carne guisada taco, and one tea that was Lipton pre-made tea, my bill was $45. Very expensive and to top it off when paying, a roach was crawling on the glass counter at payout. GROSS!

I was really looking forward to trying Doña Carmen’s because people at the hotel where I’m staying had recommended it to me. However, the service wasn’t good because there was only one very hard working and sweet waitress, and there were a few tables of people. I ordered a soda but the glass she brought me smelled and tasted like dishwashing liquid so she replaced it with a styrofoam cup. Obviously, with canned sodas and no fountain beverages that means no free refills. I ordered two gorditas, one with chicharron and one with carne guisada, but they were just a soupy mess. I love old school Mexican food but this isn’t it. Sorry.

I asked for over medium eggs and they gave me scrambled eggs. The bacon wasn’t cooked right had alot of fat on it. The hash brown was super oily. Won’t ever go there again. Do not eat here. I had placed the order there and she told me 20min I was there 35min while my food was already in counter for 5min and they did not let me know. I had to get up and asked if the was my food. I didn’t eat the plate. I had ordered to tacos . That was the only thing good.
