I went in to check out the restaurant because my neighbor recommended it. I was pleasantly surprised just how good it was. I ordered some take out tamales. The person taking my order was so kind explaining my order and the difference between El Salvadoran food and “American Mexican ” prior to preparing my orders that I wouldn’t be surprised. My order was prepared quickly and the service was great……. I will be back.

The food is ok, the portions for Thursday’s special however are sad as you can tell by the pictures, they charge the same but they’re getting smaller, the quality of service depends on who’s on shift but usually descent the reason for the low stars is because they do have some ladies with some attitude problems when my kids and I requested some lemon…so we finish our meal, and I go to pay I noticed I was being charged for the damn lemon we asked for. Seriously?! $.50 for the freakin’ lemon!?!? They can keep their lemon and their judge mental attitudes cause honestly who’s got time for that?! So I just stick with Nenas’s Restaurant :).

I’ve been coming here for years with my family and we know the owner and it’s just always a fantastic place to come eat and hangout. The food is very authentic and tasty. Original horchata! I don’t care what others say but if you want the “REAL HORCHATA” they sell it here and it’s bomb!

My experiences at Doña Blanca have been so bad that I didn’t even want to give them any stars, but since that’s not possible, I have to give them one. They have the worst customer service I have ever experienced in any Salvadorian restaurant (either in person or over the phone). Cannot believe it is still open for business. When you place your order they tell you how they will accept your order! If you ask them to divide your order to avoid cross contamination they start charging you extra up to $1.50 per pupusa. They are rude and they will decline to fulfill your order up to one hour before their closing time, and they really do not give a hoot, to let you know that they do not care about keeping your business. I believe any good review given to the restaurant would have to be given by their personal friends or their family members. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Food is always good, but service is always bad, the lady’s that work there cant look at you in the eye, and if you say thank you or talk to them they try they’r best to ignore you… Oh and beware to ask for extra curtido, that’s a big no no, the attitude amplifies

The food is excellent, very well seasoned, but we always go eat there knowing we need to review the bill closely because they (almost) always overcharge. We always say we will not return, but today we wanted the food and this time they charged an extra $14. I don’t understand the need to steal from customers. Each time we go the amount of extra charge is more. I do not recommend this place to anyone. The owner is rude and confrontational and apparently they feel the need to overcharge to make up for the customers they lose to bad customer service.
