A place so nice we came twice!
The food was delicious and the service was top notch. Our servers, Giselle and Eddi, were both rockstars.
On the first visit, I had the Birria Ramen. The flavor was a treat for the taste buds. On the second visit, I had the Tacos Regular with birria. The meat was tender and moist and once again, that birria slays.
The atmosphere was warm and cozy. There’s ample seating for big parties and solo diners alike.
I would like to say this restaurant was our favorite restaurant in Dodge City. If I find myself back in Dodge City again one day, I will be making a return to Don Taco Cowtown.

The service was absolutely unacceptable! The high school had a fundraising event here for the orchestra, and the workers here delivered people’s food HOURS after they ordered. I ordered my food at 9 AM, and didn’t get it until 2 PM! Two other people didn’t even receive their food! The service was absolutely lazy and unacceptable and I hope that IF the orchestra decides to fund raise here again that the service will be better.

Wow. Great restaurant! In town for the weekend and wanted Mexican/American food. I got street tacos and it was excellent. They give 4 instead of 3 that most restaurants do. My wife ordered chicken fried steak and raved about it. Giselle was our server and she was delightful. Food/service were so good we returned for breakfast on Sunday! I had chilaquiles which was delicious. Wife had pancake breakfast. Both were great. Giselle was our server again! Just as friendly as before. Restaurant is very nice with western paintings on walls throughout. Definitely recommend!

My wife and I were traveling and stopped by Don Taco. What a pleasant surprise! Anthony was awesome! He went out of his way to accommodate us and his service was tremendous on every level. Everything there is homemade from scratch and fresh.they had the best fish tacos we had ever eaten. The entire staff made us feel like we were family. Thanks to all of you! We will definitely tell everyone we know about your restaurant. Hopefully someday you will open a restaurant in Pueblo, Colorado.

In a virtual sea of Mexican restaurants that exist in Dodge City this is truly a standout! I come here on business and although I like Mexican food it tends to be pretty boring and especially ubiquitous in this area. Frankly a lot of the food available in Dodge has no real purpose other than make a turd. I pulled into Don tacos Cowtown, for no other reason then I’ve never been there before. First I had a michelada, a blooming onion which were very good. The michelada was huge and fantastic, custom crafted by our server, a young man named Ever. I then ordered the barrias tacos. They were outstanding, and even came with a consommé of the wonderful juices that the meat was cooked in. The rice was excellent as were the beans. I enjoyed every bit of it! You guys need to check this place out. The atmosphere is nice. The places squeaky clean and the food and service were fantastic! I’ll be back!

Just ate here with the whole family. Took mom out for breakfast and the waitress was sweet and attentive but the kitchen was terrible. The wait for our food was over 45 min. When it finally made it to our table it was very staggered. The coffee was basically water and we were still charged for it. Our ticket was over $200. Very sick after a couple of hours from food. It was not a great experience. Would definitely not recommend.
