This is genuinely my favorite restaurant in Columbus. All the dishes are delicious and very authentic. Servers are all really friendly and welcoming. My recommendations are Wang Jokbal and bibimbap for à la carte and Marinated Pork Rib for the grill. Also Zazangmyun and Jampong if you are there for lunch. I recommend to anyone who wants to try Korean dish or KBBQ!

I had an incredible dining experience at this Korean
BBQ restaurant, and a huge part of that was thanks to our server, Melanie. From the moment we sat down, she was warm, attentive, and genuinely made us feel welcome.
Melanie walked us through the menu with great recommendations, answered all our questions with patience, and made sure everything we needed was right on time – without ever being overbearing. She was also super friendly and made the whole experience fun and relaxed, which really added to the evening.
Cooking at the table can be a little overwhelming if you’re new to Korean BBQ, but Melanie checked in often, kept everything clean and well-stocked, and even gave us a few tips on how to grill the meat just right.
She’s the kind of server who makes you want to come back again – not just for the amazing food, but for the incredible service. If you’re dining here, ask for Melanie. You won’t be disappointed!

I have been going here for Korean BBQ for years. First time I tried it I was impressed by the quality of the ingredients and the attention to detail on the sides and seasoning options, I always ask for a bit of their seasoned salt for cooking the meat! Brisket slices are the best BBQ meat on the menu. Huge selection of soju, and excellent kimchi pancakes. The macaron Ice cream sandwiches are amazing according to my girls!

We have tried almost every Korean restaurant in the Columbus area and this is by far the best. They serve both KBBQ and regular, traditional Korean dishes and both are fantastic. The service is excellent and the dishes keep rotating, so there is always plenty of reason to come back. My personal favorite is the Doenjang-jjigae but everything is good, including the drinks. 5 stars all around.

Don Pocha is, without question, the best Korean restaurant in Ohio. As a Korean American who grew up in Korea, I know what authentic, home-style Korean meals should taste like—and Don Pocha delivers every time. Unlike many other local restaurants that rely heavily on MSG, powders, or artificial flavors, Don Pocha uses real, fresh ingredients. That’s why I can eat here without feeling sick afterwards, which is a huge difference from the others.
They also keep things exciting with new menus and fun events. On the last Thursday of every month, their Pocha Night is such a treat—street food specials, drinks, and even free karaoke make it an experience beyond just dining. Every Monday, they feature Korean-style Chinese classics like jajangmyeon (black bean noodles) and jjamppong (spicy seafood noodle soup), and their daily lunch specials (even on weekends!) are a fantastic value. My personal favorites are the kalbi with cold noodles and the fish with soybean paste stew.
What I love most is that they’re not afraid to serve true Korean comfort food, the kind that feels like home. Just last week, they featured sundae-guk (blood sausage soup) and dwaeji-gukbap (pork and rice soup)—dishes only real Koreans usually crave. And they were absolutely delicious.

I really love this place. Its affordable and the food is really tasty. We usually do kbbq and find the portions very fair. This restaurant also offers yukhoe, or Korean beef tartare, which can be sometimes hard to find so im grateful they have it. They also switch it up by offering seasonal foods that aren’t usually offered in many Ohio Korean restaurants.
The staff have always been very friendly and accommodating and check up on you just the right amount.

GREATEST RESTAURANT EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! Not my first time here, but every time I enjoy a dinner here, oh …. I ENJOY IT! Although, honestly.. the food wouldn’t taste the same if it weren’t for the experience of the service we received from Stephanie. What an absolute GEM of a person to have and liveliness she brings to the ambiance of Don Poncha. We enjoyed her kindness and attentiveness to our table and will definitely be returning!
