Took my wife out for breakfast
Valentines. Service started out good. I order medium rare fajitas and sunny side up eggs. Fajita came out Medium well and over easy eggs. I was given flour tortillas but never asked which kind I wanted. So I requested corn tortillas at which the waitress Sonia gave an attitude for ordering them and asking for more coffee. The corn tortillas were hard and not fresh. My wife ordered the fajita chilaquiles and the fajita was not fresh either. It looked and tasted overcooked like it was reheated. Having said this, l’ve been here before and the food has always been hit or miss but the service was better in the past. I think this was their last chance. Won’t be back.

This was my first time and I was not impressed. Not a bad place, full bar, nice patio,very nice decor. A little over priced in my opinion fir what ya get.
Staff not real friendly, Several dirty tables left dirty the whole time we were there. Only two other tables occupied in restaurant. Just a little disorganize. Lots of menus stacked on table in middle of restaurant, not cleaned at all when reused that I saw. Food was blan no real flavor. I prefer light , thin chips, The chips were very thick corn chips , fried in old oil, not stale but a old stale taste. The salsa was great. Could have been a bad day, I’ll try again some day.

Just had an insane experience at Don Pepe, absolute from start to finish! The vibe is cozy yet vibrant, giving all the authentic Mexican feels. Started with that creamy, dreamy queso, then dived into the best quesabirria tacos I’ve ever had. Cheesy, crispy, and packed with flavor. Service? Immaculate. If you haven’t been yet, run, don’t walk!

We have been to many Mexican/TexMex restaurants and we always go back to the same two. Don Pepe is one of these two. Food and margaritas are great and service is always good. Tony makes the best margaritas so ask for a fresh silver jumbo!
