Wow, Katie was right (as usual), she knew I would like Don Pepe at Lee Branch. Wonderful welcome. Andres was a fantastic server. The best chips and salsa to start. Fajita Taco Salad with steak for me and Fajita Nachos with chicken and steak (an appetizer) for Katie. Delicious and reasonably priced. I asked Andres if I could get a picture of the staff to share. Katie and I were able to join the group for a pic, too. They have a great variety on their menu and I look forward to our next visit to Don Pepe at Lee Branch.

*I’m a fan of hot stuff, but the salsa is probably a little too hot for something that is supposed to be brought to every single table. So if you have any problem whatsoever with even the tiniest bit of hot, then this would be triple that..
I’m not saying that it’s too hot, but what they’re supposed to bring to the table is something that anybody could eat from kids to adults and anybody with a taste bud so, I do think that the salsa should be a lot more milder than that for something that they bring to the table for everybody unless specifically ordered differently…
So because the sauce is not mild, it would be considered a hot salsa in the store..
So just be aware of that
I got a combo #10 (burrito, taco & enchilada)
It was really good and the service was really great. There’s not trash everywhere there’s not a bunch of tables that have a bunch of stuff all over it, they keep everything bust and cleaned. The bathrooms are clean.

I’ve eaten here several times in the past, but this time will be my last. There was a half a yellow jacket body in the pickled jalapeños. Honestly, I don’t know how to describe it better than that. The head of the yellow jacket was where the seeds of the jalapeño would be. It may have gotten sliced when they’re pickling the jalapeños. I showed it to the server, and he tried to convince me it was a mosquito like it makes that any better. It was disgusting, I couldn’t finish my food. Just paid for my meal and left.

It was a slow, Sunday night, so delivery was quick. Daniel, our server was excellent.
Overall the food was fair. Nothing to rave about. The Taco Salad with the Fajitas Steak was… 4 out of 10. The cheese dip was rather bland… Not very spicy at all. It’s been years… Like nearly 10 years since I’ve been to Don Pepe. It’ll probably be another 10 before I go back. Just saying.

Awesome food, huge portions and cool environment. Our service was on point and everything about the place was 5 stars in my experience.
Came from out of town and stopped by, got the chicken fajitas and they were great and some guys ordered a burrito which was the biggest burrito I’ve ever seen literally.
