You know the food is great we always stop in at night after a long day of work and don’t want to cook but I’m going to start looking for a new place every time we come to this one no matter what they act like they can’t hear us we have to repeat our order five times and the woman who is taking the order is rude and laugh when they hear we are getting frustrated because we have to keep repeating our order over and over how hard is it to hear number 15 pollo asada and chilaquiles with steak we even try and say it in Spanish and nope we can hear them very well when they keep saying this or that and we say no pollo asada number 15 but Tonight was the last time we will be coming especially how rude they were tonight. On 9/5 it is not worth it to us anymore especially when we spend 30 to 40 dollars. And to make it even more frustrating we get our food home and I’m eating my chilaquiles and my eggs have shells on my eggs that are fried hard I’ve literally bit in to eggshells now I can’t or I won’t eat my food. This is our last time now.

So basically everyone in there was nice and greeted us with respect. But when we got to the food… Let me tell you it was really disgusting, I’ve tried the same food in different don pedros but for some reason it wasn’t good here. Me and my mom felt disgusted from how bad the meat and the chicken was. In the torta she ordered they added too much meat and barely any veggies. And on my chicken salad everything was bad about it. If you want to come here go ahead but it’s a no for us. I don’t think I’d come again…

Ordered online. Mind you I wasn’t paying attention to what service their website uses to place orders. Pull up to speaker to pick up my order. Say my name (the name that’s on MY order). She said “a burrito, correct?” I said “there should be a jarritos on the order too.” “Pull up to the window.”
Had to confirm my order twice more as the lady who was working the window was snarky and rude. I suggest you use a different drive thru person. Preferably someone who doesn’t need the customer to confirm the same info 3+ times and someone who is more pleasant and suited for that position. Tried calling to make a complaint and of course she was the one who answered and again w a rude attitude “She’s not here you can call in the morning.”
Nah I’m good on that as nothing will actually happen.
If you want rude service then I suggest Don Pedros on 122nd and stark.

I’ve been coming here at least twice a week for over a year, specifically for Carne asada fries. I’ve ordered them 100 times with no special requests. It comes with fries, asada, Pico, sour cream, guacamole and jalapeños. I ordered tonight and received fries and asada smothered in nacho cheese sauce. No other toppings(didnt even know they had nacho cheese). I took it back thinking I got the wrong order and was told no, that’s how the asada fries are prepared. I explained that I order them all the time, and that they never come this way, and explained what usually comes on them. They said I was wrong and they would not correct the order or refund my money. NEVER RETURNING TO ANY DON PEDRO!!

“Jumbo torta” for $7.50 had nothing jumbo. To me this word means big, grotesque. I was expecting just that, a jumbo Mexican sandwich, but I was so wrong. The medium sodas are $3! This is insane! Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. See pics for the “jumbo” torta

The white cheese on top of my wet carnitas burrito that I bought today was absolutely rancid. Completely spoiled. There was *no way* they didn’t smell that before they served it. It was friggin putrid. Buyer beware!! The orange cheddar inside the breakfast burrito was fine. I won’t eat here again for a long time, if ever.

Also some kid just stared at us while we were eating. Not sure if it was the owners or not, but dude kept running back and forth and staring at us like we were in some sort of animal exhibit. (Not that that was the worst thing to happen here or anything, it was just odd.)
