Worst Mexican restaurant experience I’ve ever had . Service was so so . Food was absolutely disgusting you’ll see I’m 5he photo how much grease I soaked up in the paper towel and still had the big puddle in my plate . Stopped in while we were traveling. The food was so good, I wish I lived closer! Reasonably priced and had margaritas to go with our takeout (enchiladas were our choice). Will definitely go back if we land in that area again.

Neither the seating hostess nor the waitress said hello. They did promptly walk us to a table and take our order. The nachos with salsa and cheese tasted good, as did the mushroom quesadilla. My husband’s burrito California did not contain any avocado, its French fries were soggy, and its meat tasted just OK. Our table and bench needed to be repaired.

We always used to go here and we were so excited for the chance to go once they opened in their new location. To start, our server spoke practically no English. Which would’ve been fine if someone could’ve helped with the language barrier but unfortunately no one did. That honestly made everything harder for us and our server. It took a long time for our food to come out and it honestly wasn’t very good compared to what we would get at their old location. My salad had so much water on it, the whole bottom of my plate was full. And like the other reviewer my drink took 30 minutes to get. And then we needed to place a Togo order and that took another 45 minutes. Just disappointed and hope it gets better in the future. The inside is beautiful and there’s tons of parking. Just need to work on service

Maybe they were short staffed. Maybe we had a new/bad server. Others in the establishment didn’t seem to be having the serving issues we were having. Getting our appetizer took about 45 minutes. Getting an adult beverage took almost an hour. One of the four dishes was the wrong one and it took about 30 minutes for the correct one to get out. You don’t get a second chance to make a good first impression but perhaps we’ll revisit Don Patron again and have a better experience. The food was OK. Kinda like a West coast spin on dishes and flavors. Lot better than some Mexican restaurants we have visited but the service left us with an “eh…maybe we’ll give it another shot”. Try it. Your experience may be completely different from ours.

The lunch special #16 was incredible!! Also, the salsa and Mexican ranch they serve with chips was phenomenal! It seems like the servers had a lot to do but our food came out super fast and was piping hot. Will definitely come again if possible!

I went there during a road trip because this is the highest rated restaurant near the motel we stayed. I liked the lively atmosphere of this place. The food was served relatively quickly. The service was good. When the soda was out, the waiter noticed and gave another free glass. My friend, who is a meat-eater, liked his dish. However, this is not a very great place for a pescoterian like me. I read from the review below that anything that says ‘beans’ include meat in it, so I decided not to order anything that has ‘beans’ in the descriptions. That left me few choices. I think the menu I got was not a good choice. If I go again, I’d probably get their shrimp+pollock+veggie dish (don’t remember the name of the dish) rather than what I got. I got half shrimp, half crab enchilada with diced tomato and sour cream dish. I thought enchilada would include some chili sauce like the name represents, but it was very cheese, no chili sauce on top. Also, the crab is diced imitation crab meat, which is understandable for the price and the location, but I’d still prefer the description would say ‘imitation crab meat.’

Wow! Delicious food, incredible decor, fun drinks, all at great prices. The servers looked like they were working really hard, and they were always prompt and helpful. The chips and salsa are SO GOOD and they even refilled our chips. Yum. We got lunch #16 and #7 and loved them.

Holy cow, don’t think about it just go! My whole family absolutely loved it! The food was delicious and extremely hot. Our server was the best waiter I have ever had in my whole life. Seriously! We were eating the last chip out of the basket (that they give for free before your food comes out) and the server came running over with another huge basket of HOT CHIPS! My husband had about 2 swallows left of his water and he came out with another water and extra napkins! My daughter who is extremely picky about food, literally, after every bite said “this is so good”. And the price was so incredibly reasonable! Family of four with four huge dinners was less than 45 dollars! Of course we didn’t have the drinks that looked amazing because we were heading back on the road. Fantastic place, highly recommend!!
