Latin-inspired bakery/cafe doling out pastries, empanadas, sandwiches & other eats.

I had an excellent experience here—the service is top-notch, and the staff is incredibly friendly. They always make me feel right at home, greeting me by name as soon as I step through the door. The coffee is absolutely fantastic, and their Cuban sandwich has become one of my all-time favorites! Highly recommend.

Great spot for breakfast. Their breakfast sandwiches are always warm, fresh, and actually filling. The coffee hits just right in the morning, not too bitter. And the maracuyá smoothie is my favorite, super refreshing and the perfect mix of sweet and tangy. Definitely recommend.

Gross! I ordered a chicken bowl and it was inedible. I feel so insulted that they even sold that to me and had the nerve to turn the tipping screen towards me before I even received my food. They should really do away with that and just leave the jar because why am I giving away my hard earned money without receiving any sort of product or service to base it on? It’s like they want to guilt or shame you into tipping.
Well, this review wasn’t meant to be a complaint about tipping. The food was inedible. The corn was extremely slimy. Its consistency was similar to that okra. They are serving old, spoiled food. The chicken was hard as well. The only thing that seemed palatable was the rice, but, unfortunately, it was under the slimy corn. It was an absolute waste of money. I wish I would’ve eaten in so I could have been close enough to request a refund. I feel robbed. This place used to have great food and even better service. Unfortunately, I won’t be retuning. This is the second time in a row that the food has been sub par.
2/10 would not recommend.

While the food at Don Pan is consistently good, the customer service at this location has been very disappointing. On Saturday, 12/13/2025, around 3:30 PM, the girl brunette ,staff member I ordered from provided the worst customer service I have experienced there. She appeared irritated, rushed the ordering process, and lacked basic customer courtesy. Unfortunately, this has been a recurring issue across three separate visits. I hope management addresses these concerns, as improved customer service would make a significant difference

Unfortunately, this Don Pan location is the closest to me, but the service has been disappointing every time I’ve visited. The workers that I’ve ordered from are extremely rude and always seem irritated. They rush you while you’re trying to order and never greet customers with a smile. Their attitude feels very condescending, and it’s been the same issue on all three of my visits. It’s a shame, because I really enjoy Don Pan, but this location needs serious improvement in customer service.

Horrible customer service. I’ve been here multiple times since they opened and it’s always some nonsense.
This time, I ordered curbside and when I called, as requested on my receipt, they literally just awkwardly said, “No.” and hung up when I asked them what they meant by that.
They didn’t seem to realize despite me saying I was there for a curbside order that I was RIGHT OUTSIDE and walked in.
Both ladies behind the counter acted clueless, but yet were able to produce my order immediately after showing it to them and they asked for my name.
After all that, my order is oddly wrong – I ordered my eggs over medium, and got this weird chopped/scrambled version?
It obviously would be a mistake to go back in to have it “fixed” without more issues, so I’m finally leaving a review instead. I find it hard to find almost any Don Pan with good customer service, and luckily, they are not really a necessary option in a whole city of other Latin food choices. ♀️
And – if you just don’t happen to take curbside orders, fix your ordering system. Customers shouldn’t be hung up on, especially when I’ve paid in full prior and am picking up my food on time in a VERY slow restaurant.

This is a quaint Latin American style bakery, although I couldn’t tell which particular country, so I believe it’s a fusion. They serve baked goods, breakfast, protein bowls, soup, and other items. Their baked goods appear to be made daily. The staff is polite and attentive. The environment is clean, and parking is very easy to find because it is located in a plaza with a large parking lot.
I’m just not impressed with the food here. It’s fine. Just not particularly great. On my most recent visit, I ordered an arepa reina pepiada and a colada. I placed my order at the counter and was given a number to have it delivered to me by a staff member. While I enjoyed the freshly baked arepa, the reina pepiada was not as flavorful as I had hoped. The colada was also not as strong as I was used to. There are certainly better Latin American bakery and restaurant options.

Delicious, authentic flavors and a very friendly and generous staff and owner. I love the pastries and the bread. And the soups are better than homemade! I recommend el sancocho de costilla!
