This Mexican Restaurant is remodeled with a modern dining area and bar. The staff if friendly and the food is excellent. Handicap parking is available and easy access. There is a bar inside and a small seating area outside. There is a kid menu. High chair are available.

I read the past reviews before coming to this place and almost decided to not give it a chance. However , I told myself that sometimes you don’t judge by what you see or read and give the place a try. It did not disappoint. The host was very nice and our waiter always checked on us. Chips and salsa were very good as well. Low Prices on a lot of the dishes unless you want seafood. I assume the previous customers that have left a negative review on this place either have weak taste buds or come in when this place gets busy and are very impatient. Don’t judge based off reviews like I almost did. Go try it out! It’s good!

We were on our way to Cerro Grande, but it was closed down. There was a banner that told us that they had moved down Martin Luther King, so we went to look and ended up at Don Pablo’s.

I usually do positive reviews… this is not one of them. Building says Don Pablos, small sign at door and wait staff shirts say El Cerro Grande… but it’s not even close. We waited over 5 mins for chips & salsa, 5 more for our waitress to take out drink order. Upon returning, she took our order. Food came out fast, but she was non-existent after that. The salsa was salty! That’s a first… ever. Food was hot but cooled extremely fast. Carnita Enchiladas in Salsa Verde was great. Nice flavor, slight heat. But the fact that my cup was empty for well over 10 mins is ridiculous. Waitress was no where in sight. She wasn’t waiting Tables as it appeared to be kinda slow. Overall, it was a sub par experience. I’d rather be squeezed into the old restaurant where the service was great, Food was excellent, and everything came out piping hot. The new whatever this is, is far from what it used to be. Go to Alturos. Thank me later.

I order Fajitas for 2 steak & shrimp paid 30 bucks to literally only get 3 shrimp I asked if it came with rice and was told no but when I received them It had rice with both plates and the extra rice I loved this place when it was el cerro. I’m highly disappointed that I only received 3 shrimp for 2 people. Then when you try to call Noone answers I don’t know if I’ll be back

I’ve eaten here a lot for lunch and the food was usually very good. I took my husband there last night to celebrate his birthday and was very disappointed. The waitress was very friendly but the food was not very good. I ordered steak fajitas and the onions were burnt crispy and stuck to the plate. I didn’t get any tortillas, sour cream or anything else to put on them, just a plate full of lettuce and one slice of tomato. My beans were burnt as well. My husband’s food came out before mine, I waited for a good five minutes to get mine. I ordered guacamole for appetizer to go with the chips and that was brought after our meals. At least I had that guacamole to put on my fajitas and my husband graciously gave me his tortillas to use for my meal. Very disappointed since I usually order fajitas when I go in for lunch and never had a problem. They weren’t busy so I can’t rationalize why the food was burnt and why it all didn’t come out together.

Beautiful location with lots and lots of dining seating available and accommodations for all sizes of groups. New business opened as of beginning of 2022, visited on opening week (worst experience I’ve had at any restaurant) and have visited 4 times since (last visit on August 4th) and still is not good. The service is fast but not friendly at all, no hi or anything (very ackward), and their music is either off or very loud (even more ackward). The food is very on and off, one of the worst places to be like this (fajitas are the only best thing we’ve had here). Place is well kept and clean and parking lot on site with lots available. We gave them many chances and introduced family to Don Pablos and nobody has liked it as there are a lot of other Mexican restaurants to choose from and Don Pablo’s does not compare. DO NOT RECOMMEND for their food/service.. just for the look of the business.
