Every time I eat here, I can’t figure out why there aren’t more people in the restaurant. The food is good. The service is quick and friendly. There is plenty of seating and always good music playing. The food is reasonably priced especially considering how expensive fast food has gotten. There are limited sit down restaurants in Creedmoor/Butner. This place should be packed at lunchtime. Maybe they do a lot of takeout business versus dine in.
As for the food, the pork barbecue and barbecue chicken are excellent. Fried chicken pretty good. All the vegetables are full of flavor but not swimming in butter. Love the green beans and collard greens. Everything comes with hush puppies and they are the good seafood restaurant kind. Crispy on the outside but soft and fluffy on the inside. Haven’t had anything bad there yet.
They currently don’t have a single Google review and roadside signage could be better, so here’s a happy customer trying to do right by a business.
