I heard that there was a New Mexican Restaurant in Grafton. I was excited to stop in for lunch. Initially we thought that they were not open because the restaurant, from the outside, is very dark. But we saw the door open and walked in. They open everyday at 11:00am. Our sever, Allan, was very nice and prompt. He made some great menu suggestions. We ended up ordering off of the lunch menu. We had the Steak Cancun Burrito, barbacoa & Al pastor street tacos with a corn tortilla. I love that the all of the food, sauces, and salsas are made in house. I kept seeing people were complaining about the food being bland. I didn’t find it bland. We live in Ohio, in my experience the food is a bit more tame. If you want to spice it up ask for their homemade tomatillo sauce. It had a nice flavor and heat on it. We had great service and great food. We will be back!

Our server was very nice. The food was ok. My husband enjoyed his burrito but he said it definitely needed all the toppings to taste good. My chimichanga was dry but the beef was seasoned nice. The rice was dry and a little bland. My taco was just a tortilla with chicken. The chicken was dry and it needed some toppings bad. I added the beans, some rice, and some of the salsa from the table and then it was pretty good. We only got checked on once even though we were one of 3 parties. It was so late after receiving our meals we ate them and needed the check by the time they came around. Would have most likely ordered some sides and sauces if they had come around before. We both finished our meals and were satisfied. I have ordered door dash previous to dining in and received much better results! The dining room was clean with all new furniture. Nice sized bar for margarita nights. (Not on Sunday’s) It was seat yourself.

Second time ordering takeout. The first time was not good as our order was wrong. We decided to try again. This time the Vallarta tacos I got were grilled shrimp and a pile of unsweetened coconut- no corn , pineapple, or Pico. White rice was a pile of mush. Chips were so stale. My husband’s chimis and chicken taco had grey meat and the chicken was so dry. Totally inedible. I called and spoke with someone who said he could remake or take our name to get free food next time. We did not have time to reorder so we gave our name. I don’t think we’ll be eating there again.

Tonight was our first visit, and we will definitely be back. Omar was a fantastic server, and our food was absolutely delicious (chimichanga loca -fajita chicken, and carne asada). Even the table salsa was nice! The Texas margaritas were excellent. We haven’t been able to find many decent Mexican food places since we moved to Northeast Ohio, and now we have one down the street!

This new Mexican restaurant in Grafton is great! They are building up their wait staff . The food is delicious! Creative new dishes and traditional favorites! The hand-crafted drinks are wonderful! They completely renovated the restaurant that was much needed! It is spotless here and they do a wonderful job! This is our go-to for Mexican food for sure! I highly recommend it! The owner is there all the time making sure everyone’s having a good time and enjoying themselves!
