I grew up in this town and loved eating at Leals back in high school all the time. It’s been a few years since I’ve visited so I decided to pick up some food to go.. However, the food quality seems low now with higher prices. The “salsa” tasted like straight tomato sauce. The queso topper ground beef was really spicy from what I remember it being. And the bacon in the breakfast burrito was like beef jerky. So saddd this used to be one of my fav hometown restaurants.

I don’t do many reviews but felt I needed to do one for this restaurant. I’m giving 3 stars because I find the food tastes great. I come to this one because I live near it so it’s conveniently closer but I do not eat inside anymore. I just order drive thru because the service is not that great. They are not very friendly especially when you ask for something extra or a small customization to your order. Either way you can automatically sense a different vibe towards you then others who may frequently go there or may have a different status. Like I said it tastes great but service needs to be friendlier. I find myself going to the one in Woodway if I want to eat inside.

Ordered fajitas and they cut up steak and severed it charged for everything shredded cheese guacamole sour cream pita sauce each item was a price $27 for 2 people and we drank water. I will never go there again. And you serve ur self for drinks they brought our plates to the table. Never asked if we needed anything else!! It was not crowded hardly anyone there that SHOULD have been a clue for me. Don’t know how they stay in business……

A week ago I would have given 5 stars for the whole 2 times I had eaten there. I am giving one star for the horrible treatment my son received. He has a gluten intolerance so we specifically ordered quesadillas on corn tortillas. When we picked up the order they were on flour and blamed us for their mistake. Said it was our fault that their food was wasted. Never again! I’ll go a little farther down the road to Trujillos any day where the food tastes better and they treat their customers with respect.
