The food was good, service was very good. Had the pernil mofongo which comes with a small salad, side of pernil and delicious fried cheese. It was good but not a standout. Also had goat stew with rice and chickpeas. Also good. This place has very limited parking. There are a few spots for about 6 stores. There is no street parking either.

Their food is really good, however their customer service is horrible. Multiple times, they have gotten our order wrong and my husband kindly said this is not what I ordered, the ladies proceeded to yell at my husband saying that he was wrong instead of just fixing the problem. We are very loyal customers. Fix your attitude before you lose all your royal customers!!! Disgusting.

My wife and I ordered pollo guisado and mofongo con queso. Both were super dry. Mofongo is normally served with a garlic sauce and that was not the case tonight. Chicken stew is normally served in a sauce, but this was baked chicken. The sweet plantains were cold and tasted like they were sitting around. I tried this place for the first time. Maybe it was an off night but there are better options throughout the city of Middletown. Only positive thing I can take was our Door Dasher Rosa came early so thank you Rosa for delivering the food earlier then expected.

Its a great late night dinner spot. Food is really good! They DO NOT skimp out on the portion they give you, you will definitely have enough to share or eat for the next day. the place is clean, staff are nice and the menu is simple. Some places have a mixture of like, 25,000 options of food. This place keeps it simple. You go in, pick what you want and you’re out. There’s no loud music at the times I went.

I gave this place a try based on all the bad reviews I read before entering this store. they was a young man taking orders by himself, but I feel like he did a good job. He was polite and helped two old lady’s ordering before me by bringing their food to the table. Not a problem. I asked what the two stew items that I can see threw the glass. he gave me a simple answer, so I went with what I was more familiar with. I had the beef with vegies and yellow rice. I think it could of ben a little less salty but still not bad it did have good flavor and finished all my food. I don’t see why I wouldn’t try this again. Parking is a little tight restaurant was clean

Please let your cook go and find someone who can cook! The level of salt is horrendous! Ordered ox tails and they were tough, salty and inedible. The rice con gandules had no flavor but red dye and sodium! Very expensive too! I would give zero stars if I could!

Ripping off people! This fried longaniza cost $25 without any sides! Unbelievable! Not even 1 pound! Other restaurants with $25 you can get double with sides and probably a drink too! On top of that I got diarrhea with the bad quality of food and old oil! Never again!
