REALLY good food! And worth the price! I had their chicken fajita Friday special, and my wife had the Milanesa, super delicious, portion was perfect. The music is good and family friendly, and great overall feel to the place. Evelyn was a fantastic waitress tonight and deserves a raise.

Let me start by saying if you want to drink without a headache, this is not the place. The tequila they use must be cheap cause it gave me the worst headache ever. The food was mediocre and really quickly prepared. I’m not sure why but it didn’t take it long to get to my table after ordering it.

Don Julio is coolio. Me and my bf’s fave affordable mexican restaurant. You can really get the biggest bang for your buck here. The staff is so friendly and attentive. I’ve been 4+ times now and the service and food have been stellar every visit. My faves are the shrimp quesadilla, grilled chicken nachos, and a frozen house margarita.

Wanted to love this place as we popped in for a quick stop as it was mostly empty for dinner service. Salsa was bad, food was okay. We ordered a pitcher of margaritas, but they took 20 minutes to hit the table and came with the food. As the food arrived we asked for waters, waiter said yes. They also accidentally brought out a queso for us, which we gladly would have taken, had there not been hair in it. They dropped our waters and our check after we were done with our food.

Food was over cooked, not a single plate that came to our table was prepared correctly, over cooked, dry, and poorly seasoned. Even the desert was over fried. Never using yelp again!

Mediocre salsa. I ordered chile rellenos with rice and refried beans. The rellenos were old and the sauce was as dark as shoe leather. The cheese on top and inside the poblano peppers was rubbery squares. Absolutely the worst rellenos I’ve ever tried to eat. The beans and rice were good, so I ate only those after trying two bites of the rellenos. I asked to only pay for the rice and beans. A man came and sat down beside my friend, mostly talking with her trying to get me to eat the rellenos or take them home and give them to someone. He mentioned that it had been made on Tuesday, so this was the third day of serving it!!! He finally offered to let me pay half. He said people eat, then complain and don’t want to pay. I could NOT eat the food so that wasn’t a valid point.
