The owner is a very friendly guy who chats with patrons and always walks around the facility cleaning up their tables while they stay and converse. That’s above and beyond to me as it is an order before you sit down place. Their lunch special is a great selection for around 15 bucks with tax. You get a choice of entree, refried beans, chips and salsa, a fountain drink and even a choice between flour or gluten free corn tortilla.
Eating the nachos and even seeing them, I can tell their nacho cheese and refried beans are homemade and not bought in bulk. Exceptional taste. I was very surprised.
The only thing I didn’t care for was the wooden chairs, but I do have to admit that it very much adds to the Mexican beach vibe they have here.
I didn’t order alcohol, but I saw that their margaritas are 13 dollars.
Overall phenomenal lunch experience. I feel bad that I left some chips and salsa behind, but that’s their fault for bringing the exceptional nachos out first…

Seems a tad inconsistent. I order the same thing every time I come- the chicken burrito in a wet suit. Sometimes it’s amazingly tasty, fresh and hot, but the last few times including this visit, it’s quite subpar, no steam coming from the plate although I’m the only customer in the restaurant – no sign of ‘hot freshness’. The flight is not even warm to the touch.Rice appears to be old- The queso still had a great flavor, but was also less than warm. Fountain drinks had a hint of cleaner or bleach taste in it.
Cashierhost is very nice, however, this experience along most definitely would not trigger a return visit.

The fish tacos were on point. The fish tasted fresh and the slaw added some twang. But the fresh guacamole. Yes sir. That was some good stuff. I tried the salsa, then I tried the guac. and said to the manager and said, “Y’all serve chips and hot sauce to a lot of white folks huh?”. He seemed like a good guy and he enjoyed his job. He’s been there 20+yrs. Too bad I cant remember his name.
I’ll definitely go back. Fish tacos 9/10. Guacamole 9.8/10 it was spicy good.

Forward thinking on typical Mexican fare. It was fresh, exciting, and Cabo style. It’s fast-casual, but service was spot on. Great job Rei. Tacos are made with fresh tortillas and the fish tacos and Calle street tacos are worth the visit alone. Very happy I included this restaurant on my trip to Bossier C.

Nothing like these mexi-cheez steak tacos served on a home-made flour tortilla anywhere else. Their queso is the best. Service, atmosphere and tacos are hard to beat here.

Our meal at Don Juanz far exceeded our expectations. Old shopping center but beautiful beach style taquieria inside. Serving the best fish tacos, carnitas, queso and even quesadillas. Smoke and blood mezcal cocktail out of this world good!

Visited from Texas, as always delicious, well cooked, presented food. Service was awesome. Wait was a little long but well worth it! Will definitely try to come back every time we come to Bossier. Kids loved it.

Super chill place, loved the vibes and the service here. Tacos were very good too. Would recommend if you’re looking for a nice evening/lunch with good 70’s music and good vibes.

Simply the best queso vida loca with the most savory beef blended in to their already great queso paired with my shrimp tacos made with wild caught shrimp and not farm raised shrimp like every other restaurant seems to be serving in town. Come here if you care about what you eat.
