Monster, an amazing server! We went on Christmas Eve, the place was packed and yet we still got amazing service and delicious food. The server was attentive, extremely funny, and helpful! Tableside guac was delicious and so fresh- get that instead of the regular bowl of guac from the kitchen. The 5 of us ordered our entrees, and it was all to our table in about 5 minutes, I was shocked! Would definitely come back if I wasn’t here on vacation, but I’m sure my local family will be returning! Monster, great smile and great service thanks again !!!!

It only took like 7 minutes for our food to come out. It was super fresh and amazing. I always get a california burrito from every Mexican spot I go to and this was the best I’ve ever had out of dozens. Can’t praise it enough and how quickly it came out. Super happy to go back in the near future 🙂

I sat at the bar and had the whole thing to myself❤️ I enjoyed my food and the atmosphere. The music is just loud enough to enjoy but not be overwhelming. The salsa is flavorful but I didnt care for the chips. The service was incredible….efficient and polite without being overbearing. My drink was refilled efficiently and my fajitas came out quickly. I don’t live in the area but will absolutely be back when traveling through!

The food was really good. That will be a preference of mine when visiting the lexington area. Me and a friend took a hike and came to have a sit down mean. We sat in the outside area and it was really nice and the service was great. Very polite and welcoming.

I used to love this place it’s falling down a bit. I ordered a a burrito and they didn’t wrap it, (good fIavor thought) order a frozen margarita the texture was off. Maybe it was an off day but I wrote this so hopefully they will do better. I may come back If a group wanted to go but they are no longer my first choice. Waiter was cool

Something has happened here. Experiences before this one were good – great even – but not this one. Service was WAY off during a not-busy time, carnitas were under-cooked, waiter was nice but forgot tortillas, then we couldn’t find him for 10 minutes…had an employee sitting next to us and when asked for help, he actually said he wasn’t working so didn’t have to answer/talk to us. Manager eventually started roving, asking how things were, but it was too little too late.

I can’t tell you how long I’ve been going to Don Juan’s. I’m a lexington native originally but live a county away now. It’s a 40 minute drive but we still go every so often. The chimichanga is still one of the best I ever had with beef tips as well as the cheese dip. Not a long wait for a Thursday evening at 6pm. A party of 4 was taken right back as the parking lot was getting full. Parking is okay if it’s not one of those really busy evenings where you may have to wait. Don’t come at 7 and expect to get a seat right away if it’s Friday or Saturday just saying from experience. Located a couple miles from I85 and the business loop but not terrible if your traveling just worth the little few minutes.

Great food, service, and drinks; especially the “Liquid Marijuana” mixed drink . Love the outdoor seating during nice weather ❤️. The parking area is small though, so try to beat the crowds!
