⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5

I had an amazing experience at this Mexican restaurant, and a huge part of that was thanks to my waitress, Amanda. The food was delicious—fresh, flavorful, and served hot—but Amanda is what truly made the visit stand out.

She was incredibly friendly, attentive without hovering, and had great timing with everything. She checked in just enough to make sure I had everything I needed and genuinely made me feel welcome. You can tell she cares about her customers and takes pride in her work.

Between the great food and Amanda’s exceptional service, this place easily earned five stars. I’ll definitely be coming back!

We were stuffed when we left. Needless to say, the food was good, hot and tasty. The chicken fajitas could have used a little more salt but that’s okay, I just added some. It’s better to have too little salt than too much. They have good margarita specials but we didn’t any even though it was tempting.

Taco, tamale, enchilada, beans, rice, queso, salsa and chips for $8.99+tax. Great quality, service, and incredible value. Consider Don Jose for lunch next time you plan to drop $15 at Taco Bell for a couple mediocre items and a drink.

This place never fails to be the best that they can be from quality food to quality of service. Their frozen margaritas are THE best In town! The ownership is passionate and ready to serve their community not seen a place quite like this anywhere else in town.

I got a chili Relleno and it was horrible. I am not sure what yall called that. But a chili relleno it was not. The breading was awful thick and just no. The salsa was spoiled as well. I know how these are made and that’s not it.

A good Mexican restaurant to visit in Duncan. My burrito was quite good and I really loved that there was also free queso and salsa. The meat was a bit bland, but the chili sauce was quite good. Our server was very friendly and I felt like the portions were a good size.

Everything was great. The margaritas are really good! My only complaint is… it’s a little cramped inside. Drink a margarita and you’ll forget really quick how tight the space is. Lol

The food was splendid. Carne asada tacos done to a turn. Excellent pork tamales. The service was a bit spotty, but if you’re not in a rush, check them out!

Update: yesterday I was craving tamales, so I decided to go and order my food to go and have a margarita while I waited. They make a decent margarita, which is saying something. They seated me in the bar, brought my drink to me, and let me sit there and read until my food was ready. There were two couples at the bar, and they were enjoying themselves and said they wouldn’t mind if I took a picture of them. I happily walked out and came home and opened up containers of extremely savory Mexican food. I ordered the Don Jose platter which comes with one tamale, one carne asada taco, one beef burrito, and a cheese stuffed chile relleno. Small side of guacamole, a bushel of chips and salsa and queso. I still haven’t eaten all of it! I first ate the carne asada taco, and it was as good as they come. Later in the evening I ate the tamale. I love the taste of the masa with the savory filling of pork. This evening I had the beef burrito which was scrumptious, and tomorrow I have a chile relleno to look forward to! I’ve eaten decent Tex Mex in many different places. This is one of the best. The staff is friendly and helpful, I was surprised my food came out before I finished my drink, and I came home with a bounty to last me four meals!
