The food here was good. The chilaquiles was better than I have had at other places in town. Wife had the Gringos and said it was good also. The sweet Tea is good. Also wasn’t too busy when we arrived. Waitress was very friendly. They have a large selection to choose from.

This was the worst mexican food place I have been to. Our usual spot was closed so we tried this one out, being that it has over 4 stars we thought it would be quite good. It cost $35 for 3 breakfast plates and it was horrible. The tortillas were even hard as well.

Crystal was friendly and provided excellent service. I will definitely go back and tell my friends and family to eat here. The lunch special was excellent and cheaper than most restaurants.

The food is great, as for the service we can be sitting there for up to a half hr and nobody will come over and asked us if everything is okay and there’s three or four waitresses or waiters just sitting around talking.
The atmosphere is a traditional hispanic Mexican restaurant usually it’s okay but once in a while they turn the music on so loud you cannot enjoy the company that you’re there with and it’s hard to enjoy their company then you’re literally screaming across the table at them just to hear them or to be heard. You have a question about the noise level usually it’s moderate however you need to pay attention to their fliers because they advertise when they’re going to be having karaoke and if you don’t realize that there’s karaoke that night then you’re not going to be able to hear your guests

Only trouble I had was parking. I was pulling a trailer and couldn’t fit normal parking. Otherwise I enjoyed it.

My friend and I visited Don Jesus last Friday for brunch to catch up. I had never had their breakfast menu but when my friend ordered their biscuits with gravy it sounded so good that I had to try. I ordered mine with sausage patties and over medium eggs. The service was prompt and very friendly. The server engaged with us beyond just taking our order and made me feel very comfortable. The atmosphere was very calm and peaceful, which is lovely for having brunch and catching up with friends. Our food arrived quickly and at the perfect temperature. The only complaint I had was that the sausage patties were too salty for me to eat, which is generally the nature of patty sausage so I don’t hold that against the restaurant. However, I really am writing this review to rant about the biscuits. I have NEVER had a biscuit so tender and fluffy in my life! They were delectable, buttery little clouds that melted on the tongue and made me a hazard to myself. I could not get enough! The gravy was smooth and creamy, enhancing each bite of delicate biscuit without overwhelming it with spices. It was absolute perfection and I will be going back for more! Oh and the eggs were cooked perfectly over medium as well.

We stopped there when passing through. The food was absolutely delicious!! I had huevos rancheros and it was the best I have had since living in New Mexico. My daughters both cleaned their plates, too! We will definitely eat there again when heading to Port A.
