Food was great and tasty but my only gripe is that we sat there for a good 30 mins without the waiter even acknowledging us. It started off bad since we weren’t given water or chips n salsa. We finally had a waiter acknowledge us after I kept staring at them. I ordered an enchilada that was cooked well and tasted great.

First time here, ordered Togo… the portion sizes are horrendous and the photo will speak for itself.

Delicious, authentic, Mexican food. The beef tongue burrito was superb!! The meat was incredibly tender and well seasoned. The service was very friendly and quick. Definitely going back for more!!

My experience here was just okay. The service was very fast, which is a plus. But, the burrito was bland. I expected a sauce or maybe more fillings, but it was just chicken and cheese which tasted fine but was just a letdown by itself. The rice and beans are pretty good, but their portions were stingy. They also didn’t have their liquor license when we went which was a major letdown, so I might reevaluate when I can actually sample their margaritas.

I’m a Mexican from California, and at first I was a little worried about the Mexican food here, but was pleasantly surprised. Definitely a good spot to get a good meal. The owner is from Durango Mexico and knows what he’s doing. Would definitely return.

1 woman taking orders, serving the food, taking payments. She was pretty quick for being on her own, on a Saturday afternoon, with a full restaurant. Food was ok. Can’t expect great Mexican food in Hawaii.

Very small place in a stop mall, but with great food! If you’re in the mood for something different, try the lengua burrito. It was a bit on the small side (don’t expect a Homewrecker size burrito from Moe’s), but the flavor was great! We also started off with the taquitos that were freshly prepared and had a great crunch to them. My wife had the pork chille rellenos that also had really great flavor. Oh, and added bonus – they make their own horchata! The service was very friendly as well. The place is really small, so limit the size of your group if you can.

We usually eat at El Mariachi. But they are closed on Wednesday. First as you can see in photos the tacos has a lot of onions. The shrimp ceviche was tasty but small portion. And small burrito. Also the person who took my order was rude. I don’t think I will eat here again. When they first opened at the other location, food was good. And service was better.
